s.hk has 17 frames of blockstun and 19 frames of hitstun and in 2012 it’ll be 24 frames of hitstun on counter hit.

they could increase s.hk’s frames overall and up the block stun (the bad idea), increase the block stun and have s.hk have +3 on block (questionable) or they could drop lk.duck to 17 frames (the best idea) if they dropped lk.duck’s frames then it’d be 0 on block, +2 on hit and +7 on counter hit. hell if they actually dropped lk duck’s frames then everything would be back to how it was in super and we’d have a slightly faster lk duck which would be a good buff.

What I wouldn’t give for lk.duck to be 3 frames faster… Although realistically if it were to change AT ALL it would be 1, if we’re super duper lucky 2 frames faster.

Improve f.mp hitbox, give it a little more range
Improve c.mk range (the extra frames on ae actually helped it, because sometimes dodged it with a backdash lol, but the range is too low, many backdashes will beat it, you have to go for other options)
Dudley target combos are useless in sf4 mechanics (except for abel’s ultra 2, but that is not the case) why they don’t buff the crap out of their damage for the new Dudley players, and maybe to blow some focus ocasions?
Safe ssb’s, I confess, Id like to throw those all the time, if it was easy for duds to get in that is.

increasing s.hk range a bit would be cheap, I would f.mk > jab > f.mp counterhit > s.hk or f.mk > s.mk > s.mk > s.hk all day long, and use as a hardcore poke too, catching all kinds of whiffs, you name it.
who said 1 frame cc is crazy, people would have no solid wakeup jump against Dudley, he would go from mediocre wakeup for a pretty damn solid one, people forget gouken has no ex jet upper, there is the thing that below the waist will hit Dudley sure, but I don’t know, what about crossups…

A safe and armour breaking SSB is all I want. A little bit of frame advantage for HP MGB on hit would be nice too.

Dudley’s target combos actually have quite a few good uses. Many of them are match up specific, but quite a few have good general use against the entire cast as ways to option select, or in conjunction with other linkable normals to setup frame traps. So, if you think they are useless, then you need to start experimenting with them more. It would certainly be nice of the frame data on a few of them were a little better though, but as is, they have some very strong functionality.

I think the majority should be positive on block as opposed to negative. crouch short xx crouch forwards rapes Balrog hard and allows you to OS backdashes, but that’s been discussed to death.

Thanks, on an unrelated note, why does Yun/Yang have 1000 stun again? Some of the stun meter ranking system in this game baffles me. Chun-Li higher than Gouken? All of my why.

No idea but Yang has 950 in AE ver2 which means Yun probably too. Pretty sure that had 2nd/3rd lowest stun in 3S.

Remy is 2nd and then it’s either Ibuki or Yun/Yang. Bottom line is Remy freaking sucks.

Anyway I hope most of us are doing our part letting SF4 developers and Ono know that the way they’re “balancing” Dudley is WRONG by sending e-mails or twitting them to this link.

Remy is the only sonic boom character I know that has all of the usual weaknesses (low stamina/stun, bad wake-up) and almost none of the strengths. Gotta lockdown from a range where you can punish people for parrying booms and use cold blue kick to gain ground.
