thanks bro, didnt see this till now. Pretty sad performance on my part, it literally hurts to watch that moment where I should have went 2-1 with Dorm. but I don’t get to play that calibur of player too often. I’ve improved alot since then!

I was about to make a new thread for this, but thought I would double check to make sure it would be appropriate or if it was already posted lol. Still, I’m glad it was uploaded. I read that Condor_Missile had stopped playing. He has some brilliant tech with Cap, and makes me want to pick up Iron Man lol.

He was playing a Hsien-Ko/Taskmaster/Hawkeye team.
He was for a while. I heard it straight from his own mouth… or fingers. Life caught up and now he’s playing again. Simple.

In 2 weeks time on Tuesday 14th August. I go because it is summer holidays for me. During school time I don’t go cause it messes up my sleep as I get back ridiculously late. And yea I’ve been working on my Doom a lot to the point where he may actually be my best character on my team.
I need someone to give me advice… let me know when I should have done something at any given time or that I should have done something different. I’m totally open to ideas…

I know it is really tempting but you gotta stop blindly doing air shield slashes. Sometimes you are doing it at the wrong height where it isn’t very safe and most of the time you are doing it when you are too close to the opponent where he can just dash and launch or on the other side of the screen where it isn’t even going to hit. Against Vergil you should not be doing it as frequently due to his pretty good ground dash sand his great range on his normals. As a result of this you are doing a lot of jumping backwards (and doing shield slash so you aren’t blocking) where you are putting yourself in the corner which saves him the trouble of doing hard midscreen combos with Magneto as the corner ones are easier (although he seems to drop the combos anyway).
Lastly, you can work on your combos with Cap. There were times you could have defeated them had you known the the better combos. Since it is just player matches you may as well try and get them down as there isn’t much to lose if you do drop it. Check the combo thread for some variations of the Condor Missile Cap/Sent combo (plus I believe you can end with double charging star after Nova assist for even more damage).
Other than that, you do know how to use his anti ground kick. Work on conversions and hit confirm and slow down on the shield slashes and use them at the right time as well as getting the combos down then you will find that you probably will get a lot of OCVs. Good Nova and pretty good Sentinel though.
Thanks for the info dude. I’m posting another video where I play a 1st scout and I do much better. I started realizing I was doing to many random shield slashes during that match. I was very surprised to play a cosmic lord to begin with, I was just glad to play someone of such a high level. If you don’t mind, shoot me a friend request , I love player matches.
