Priests need some buffs. gj bliz. more nerfs plz.
What happened now verse? Should I even bother levelin my priest? I want a healer for endgame purposes and I don’t want to play a druid or pally again. 
Priest dont need buffs. They dont need to be nerfed either. They are just fine.
Why would priest need to be buffed, inverse?
They SEEM fine for pve. On paper, to me they seem pretty good because they are the most versitile healers in the pve game. I’m just QQing about priest survivability in pvp.
I’m talking about pvp. They get wooped on. It seems like they’re just there to slap on renews, mana drain, prayer of mending, and mass dispel in 5on5 and I think this is the only place where priest shines besides 2v2 w/affilcition lock. Paladin imo is just a better healer in 2v2, 3v3, and 5on5. This might change soon because word on teh street is we’ll be getting more armor than rogues. Also, fear gets resisted a lot nowadays.
TG: go ahead and level your priest. every class will have it’s day thanks to patches, it’s just that priests have been getting huge nerfs over the months. It’s just a matter of patience.
Pallies will never have its day, they have been getting hit with the nerf bat for along time.
I have a shadow priest and i don’t have a problem doing 2v2, but when its 3v3, or 5v5 i get 1 or 2 shotted. Priest are like wet paper towels even with Power word shield. On top of that, shadow priest offensive spells all have cool downs so we cant spam anything like a mage could and our instant spell shadow word death deals dmg to us if it does not kill the target. With the last patch it was fixed so it deals all the dmg back to you if u don’t kill the opponent.

I just started playing recently after i played on initial launch to lvl 30 on a druid.
one of my friends brought me back and decided to roll a shaman.
Now i’m a hardcore pvp nut (all my mmo experience is pretty much daoc) and i wanted to 2v2 arena with a enhance shaman and i’m forcing him to make a ret pally.
I started reading a lot on the forums and i KNOW these 2 specs are really gimp when it comes to pvp but doesn’t it seem viable? I don’t want to do any of the fotm teams like war/pally or priest/mage and thought that this will be different.
Wouldn’t their synergy be really good together? I’m a complete noob in WoW and i just saw each of the classes skills working well together. In game, not so sure.
So please tell me if this will work or at least be decent enough to enjoy arena.
Enhance shaman and ret pally? They’re kinda meh, to me. You can still do pretty decently, but you won’t be dominating people. If you want better success, imo you should go elemental, and your pally bud should go holy. On paper, you might give caster teams a whole lot of trouble with that squad.
With a ret/enhance team, you’ll just lose to teams who can play cat and mouse well in the arena.

Yeah but…
It totally depends on if your totems are close to you, what type of mage it is, and a whole bunch of stuff. Also, hunters have concussive shot which slows you down, warrior hamstrings, etc, will be a bitch… Getting into ghostwolf is slow in pvp, and you probobly don’t want to put talent points into it. You will get a chance going to them, but the opportunities aren’t many.
Your paladin bud has blessing of freedom too, so that will also help, but the cat and mouse line of sight game is what will give you trouble if you guys are specc’d for melee. Using the LOS in arenas so they can’t hit you is definately an advantage that people will have over you.
yeah i heard about los issues but didn’t know what it really does until i actually play i guess.
