Some of the things said here about Canada… Wow, guys. Read a book now and then.
I second the fuck out of this. Molson may taste like a carbonated form of my ass but Dos Equis makes that seems like the Nectar of the Gods.

i like moosehead (no beastiality)
Hating Crosby is the trendy thing to do. Hockey media overhypes and overadvertises him. He is the poster boy of hockey, and he has been treated this way since he was 15 years old. So, everyone naturally perceives him as the spoiled hockey brat. They put him so god damn high on a pedestal that everyone expects him to be a god. Every time he stumbles, it gets magnified 100x. Whenever he does something worthy of praise, well…that’s what he’s supposed to do anyway. Whenever he does something that worthy of criticism, everyone is all up in arms about it like it’s the worst crime ever committed. And that’s how society works nowadays. They build somebody to be bigger than he is, and then try to knock him down.
For his first two seasons, each road game meant a huge press conference, a huge autograph signing…oh yeah, and a hockeygame to prepare for. Not once did he neglect the press, his fans, or his team. He scored 102 points in the first season, and 120 points in the second, and was named captain to his team afterward. Think about this, and think about how mature you were when you were 18-19.
I’m glad Crosby has a Stanley Cup ring, an Olympic Gold Medal, and the goal that every hockey fan dreamed about scoring as they were shooting tennis balls at their garage door. The man deserves his legacy and his haters deserve the agony of watching him fulfill it. I hope this is just the beginning.
I’m not a Crosby hater. He’s the face of hockey and the NHL and he deserves it. I wish it would have been Ovechkin in that position though, because he’s more physical than Crosby. He’s not afraid to shoot from anywhere and hit people in the process, while Crosby is more of a finesse player. Yet Ovechkin was really the no-show in this tournament as his team was so bad and he didn’t do shit (i.e. game against Canada). Earlier this year the Capitals hosted the Penguins and Ovie didn’t start showing off his own skills until the Caps were down 2-0 due to goals by Crosby. He’s got a huge uphill climb to make if he wants to make his resume equal to Crosby’s.
In MY experience, for every one fuckbag like you…there’s another one. Which is basically what I’m speaking on. My experience. Don’t get frustrated because it’s unflattering for you.
We’re not the best at baseball, either. We still care about it.
No it isn’t.
I wasn’t the one that started that argument. I’m just the guy that won it.
When did I trivialize Canada’s victory?
I love this one. You “won” the argument? You justified how awesome your country is with:
-Pop culture
-Quality of presidents (lol)
-Its impact on global economy
-Its sports market
-Its currency
Instead of:
-Standard of Living
-Economic stability
-School enrollment
-Life expectancy
That’s like saying, my car is better than your car because it:
-Is taller
-Is wider
-Has bigger wheels
-Makes more noise
Regardless of:
-Safety rating
-Longevity
-Gas mileage
-Additional features

lol in all seriousness though lets just go back to abusing Mexico together.
Apparently you have a really distorted image of what America is like if you think that America and Canada are wildly different on any of these points.
So who already hates “The Marriage Ref”?
This is the most I’ve ever already-hated-on a show just from its commercials alone.
Note to all Celebrities: WE DO NOT WANT YOUR MARITAL ADVICE. We want your affairs, sex scandals, and idiotic behavior. Preferably all 3, on tape.
This show would be a complete success if it were the other way around, where celebs aired out their marital arguments in public, and we all voted on who “wins”. That’s the celeb culture, NBC. They get to be rich and famous, and we get to judge THEM, not the other way around.

happy times in toronto
I don’t. I’m not saying Canada is better than America, or vice-versa. I’m simply stating that your rationale for why Canada is such a horrible country is baseless.
Besides, you have a really distorted image of what Canada is like if you think we don’t have access to Aerosmith, NFL, and Hollywood movies. In fact, these are three of my favorite things.
You know how Eagles fans think the inhabitants of Dallas are cocky, obnoxious lowlifes? And Cowboy fans think similarly of Philadelphia? And they insist it has nothing to do with football, and you can’t convince them otherwise?
That pretty much sums up your feeling towards Canada. Crosby spoiled your beloved team’s party and you’re a just a little butthurt. Don’t worry. You’ll get over it.
canada’s racism is sooo tame compared to america’s. from what ive seen the worst negros get in canada is getting blocked out of a club.
