Y so salty?
I don’t know, dog…
rofl.
Got dang, she made that look easy.
The thing about Nagasu, she’s notorious for under rotating her jumps, so the judges scrutinize her very heavily. So whether that was the case (seeing how they took forever to release her scores), or they were just being salty over her rep of doing so, something was up in that performance that we didn’t see.
Personally, I think Asada should’ve probably been lower than she was. IMO, it should’ve been:
1st. Kim
2nd. Rochette
3rd. Asada or Nagasu
You have no idea what her start value is on her free skate program, and it was likely to be much lower than those in the top 3. Secondly, if you look at her track record of the scores she usually gets in her free skate, the highest she ever scored was a 118, so a 126 is probably being generous. Less salty please.
Fucking crazy koreans. lol
lol Thanks for that espn. At least we know you know the difference between koreans and chinese. lol
the korean girl that won the gold is hot.
This without question.
Kim Yu-Na? she aite
On another note, who the hell designed these medals? They look like coins that were run over by a train. Or a really weird looking potato chip.
There are so many elements of failure in these Canadian Olympics, it can’t be a coincidence.
edit: How did that girl Rachel Flatt make it onto our Olympic team?
She exhibits no grace, and looks like a chunky pig on the ice. Everything she does seems so sluggish. Compared to girls like Kim Yu-Na , she looks like a damn fool.
fan service.
and i’m a new fan…
omg…
I think I’ll be saying no homo a lot as I watch her in figure skating comps.
I’m pretty sure that was a rhetorical question…
But it’s always funny hearing the viewers complain about the medals. Like the athletes who got them are going to turn them away because “it’s ugly.” It’s an Olympic medal, only a scant percent of the world even comes close to winning one. I personally don’t admire the design, but if I won one, I wouldn’t be complaining.
google? wtf…is that some kind of new webpage?
google? wtf…is that some kind of new webpage?
jesus christ. I never seen the medals before. what the hell was the designer thinking? was it approved by the same person that approved the gay hells angel lumberjack? I’d be mad if I worked my whole life for something and I given such an ugly medal.
EDIT: and they’re not even made out of gold, they’re made out of silver and they’re gold plated. what the hell kind of shit you trying to pull, canada? they must have created those monstrosities out of spite because they knew they would be going to americans.
These medals just look HUGE too. Flavor Flav designed these things or what?
^_-;
US pretty much had no one else I think. NBC wasn’t even promoting figure skating at all this time around I guess knowing no girl from the US was a serious medal contender. I’m disappointed with how NBC promoted before the Olympics overall where it was all about Lindsey Vonn with a little bit of Ohno and Carrot Top mixed in and not much mention about other US competitors that ended up winning golds.
Heh, I guess Brian Orser also got his name back into the Olympic fold again since his loss to Brian Boitano.
You actually thought Gold medals were made of solid Gold? Olympic Gold medals have been made of Silver and Gold-plated for 100 years now. 1 kg of Gold costs 39000 USD.
I don’t think those medals look that bad. They’re kinda new wavy, but not terrible.
