Joined just for this thread! I’m new to fighting games. Haven’t played since the days of the 90s! and SF2 Turbo. My giant man hands can’t handle the dpad / analog stick on controllesr for precision. I’ve been eyeing the TE2 like a hawk. I was so sad when the 11th wasn’t the release. I hope we hear about it soon. Really would like to get it before summer ends and I have to go back to programming classes
Is the Persona version gonna be limited like with the Japanese release? If so I hope it’s not as limited as the connotation of the word makes it sound, hahah
Don’t ride the perimeter of the restrictor gate; do your best to limit your joystick movement to the actuation distance (i.e. when you hear the clicks of the microswitches activating). Not only is it more efficient since you’re covering less distance with the stick, but it preserves the longevity of the joystick component itself (or so I’ve heard). Regardless, please direct all future general questions involving sticks to the Question and Answer thread; it’s stickied in the Tech Talk section, you can’t miss it.
Who do I have to email / call every day to get this approval done? Cause god damn man my right hand is cramping up so bad when I play with a controller. My fingers are swelling. I’m trying my best to be patient but I wanted to get this in before September!
I’m sorry. My post came out a lot more dickish than it sounded when I typed it. I’m just really excited to own a fightstick (I’ve always wanted to have an arcade cabinet, this and a computer are the next best thing) and now USFIV has me legitimately wanting to play these games properly despite the world’s worst D-pad being on my controller.
I’m just simultaneously excited and frustrated about this thing. I expected something licensed for a game to come out on or about the launch of the game it’s modelled after. The TE2 has the buttons place right where I want them, it looks like there’s tons of room for my large palms to rest (unlike pretty much every other stick) and from a video I’ve seen I can store a game in the compartment when I travel!
Anyway…all this to say…I’m sorry. Didn’t mean to come off so harshly.
