Hello! I just now placed an order for a brand new TE2 for PS3/4, and I have a few questions.
First, I noticed that the website says this stick supports a PCB that lets you light up transparent buttons. Does this PCB come installed already, or is it separate? If separate, where do I find one of these PCB’s? Are there any guides out there for installing and configuring the lighting setup?
Second, I’ve read about a few issues with custom art being placed on the stick. Namely that the topmost plastic cover looks bad, and the art gets scratched by the plate moving around on top of it. Is this still an issue with the TE2’s? Will buying a replacement plexi like this one: http://tek-innovations.com/arthobbies/?loc=products&cat=21&subcat=&item=190remedy this issue?

No matter what, the TE2 plexi a shit. Get a better one from tek-innovations.com
Also in addition to what everyone said, the LED will always be on unless you unplug the board. I feel that’s something mad catz should mention but they don’t.
So its not possible to configure it to only light up when you press the button? Eww. Thanks for telling me.
Exactly, you need a third party LED solution like kaimana or Remora or something of that nature. If you want an all in one board, the LVT3 was built for the TE2’s and does exactly what you want. It’s a little pricy though.
Isn’t the LVT3 only for the Xbone TE2 though? Unless they made a common ground variant that I’m not aware of
there’s a ps4 version now as well
Does the new Ultra Rivals TE2 have the KI version plexiglass or the thinner plexiglass?

Not a fan of the white/orange Chun Li stick but I have to say white and black looks really good. Wonder if black case with white bezel and sides would look good…

I contacted support. Apparently their shipment from Mad Catz is delayed. My shipment date changed to september.
is there any way to get the thicker KI plexi? i really like having a flush top panel. also any way to get seimitsu screw ins to fit where the X button is? the stick mounting plate is a + shape and overlaps where the screw part of the button fits.
The extra plexis Mad Catz sends as a replacment used to be the thicker one maybe still are, they sent me 2 thick ones a few months back.
As for the x button people have screenshots of the Seimitsu screw-ins and even bigger Sanwa ones just fine, I think the trick is to put the nut against the hole and screw the button into it instead of the other way around.
