Wasn’t there a “Basic TE2 Mods” video series by Markman where they installed custom art, GamerFinger buttons and a Hayabusa into a TE2? Unless the model was changed between those videos and what was released, they should be fine, right?
Those videos show him screwing one in while it’s open but that’s about it lol
But anyway DarkCat says he put 2 in both his TE2’s a few posts up so it’s all good.
buyproduct, is that one of the black plexis from Art’s Hobbies you’re using in your picture or something else? Just curious, since I’ve been thinking about getting one.
Yes, I bought the black plexi from Art because the one that came with the stick was awful. I kept getting my fingers scraped and cut by they corners of the enlarge holes on the original.
The LED PCB, bezel, clear spacer rings for the buttons, interchangeable hex-flat head screwdriver, button wire harness, as well as a set of 8 replacement hex screws are now up for purchase on the MCZ store.
Cool. Yeah, I don’t like really like how the stock plexi can move around a bit. From what I understand, button go over Art’s plexi which should solve that problem.
We sold out super fast on the LED board. Sorry! We’re making more ASAP.
If anyone is interested in getting new PS4/PS3 TE2s and are heading out to Winter Brawl in Philadelphia. You’re in luck! We’ll be in stock of the P4U2, GGXrd and USF4 TE2s for the PS4/PS3 console. Spread the word.
It’s the same size as the stock one so it sits in the the little ridge around the stick and under the bezel, so you’ll have to take that in consideration with your artwork if you have something you want to show at the edge of it.
Able to send my TE2 back for RMA, if the plexi isn’t any better I might get one from Art’s Hobbies, but the shipping is SO EXPENSIVE! Is there any other way I can get one in the UK without paying $40 for postage?
Pretty sure he’s the only one selling TE2 plexis, unless a custom stick builder can make you one but that may cost more in the end.
Your best bet is wait until you have a bigger order from Arts because the shipping stays pretty much the same, or if you have friends that need to put in an order too so you split the shipping.
