Yeah cleaning mine got rid of most of the rainbow effects, but I got air bubbles in the same place afterwards
Air bubbles under the artwork?
My USF4 TE2 fight stick was just delivered, man oh man itâs a thing of beautyâŚlol
Edit: forgot to mention, the usf4 version on the playstation now streaming service works with the fight stick by pushing the home button on the stick (the ps4 reads it like a controller), only thing is that when you want to exit say training mode for example you have to switch back to the ps4 controller for some reason to look up the movement lists for characters or exit to the main menu etcâŚ
But despite that itâs a minor problem and it wonât be that long until the ported version gets released on ps4, which will give me plenty of time to practice and get back into the swing of things after a year of non play.
Between the plexi and artwork
and while I was considering pre-ordering the Persona stick, those are sold out too.
Well hopefully Madcatz will also make a DOA 5 LR stick since hori is making one, so more sticks can be available since it seems people are buying them like they are going extinct or something
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I NEED A PS4 arcade stick so bad
I wish this were in stock =(
Iâll visit the office tomorrow and get the word. Sorry for the delay.
Also, in case I donât get a chance to say so. Happy New Year everyone!
@Hazellnut134â I just got my TE2 and had the same issue where the plexi slid while using and scuffed the art as well as the plexi. Luckily for me, the few scratches almost match the design of the art lol. Iâm still going to put a ticket in with my photos to madcatz. Im not really worried about the plexi, since Iâm getting one from Artâs hobbies, but if theyâre able to send me another set of artwork that would be awesome. Not getting hopes up as the stick is still great. For anyone wondering, the âsqueakyâ topcase issues from the KI version are gone in my USF4 PS4 version.
@IronmanSSâ thanks a ton for that top about the zip tie, Iâll be doing that straight away, as I did make sure to take extra care when closing mine but having that bit of security will be great.
Lastly, just as an FYI for anyone wondering, if you have one of the cables from mad catzâs older line of pro controllers (the customizable ones fro 360/ps3) Im happy to have found out that those cables work universally with the TE2s, no matter the console. I was jazzed to have the blue-paneled PS4 stick with the braided blue cable to match B)
Ahh maybe I should have sent some pics with the ticket lol
So it seems I somehow managed to break the Playstation button on my TE2, it doesnât work on my ps4 or my brothers and the PS button is the only thing that doesnât work when i plug it into my ps3. Is there anyway i can easily fix this myself without having to send my stick to Madcatz or something?
Stick just came in and it looks amazing. No bumps or blemishes and the art work looks better in person that it does in pictures; it looks more metallic to me. I ordered the GG stick because I didnât want the bright blue side panels and because it had more of a plain look to it. feels solid while doing inputs and its a huge step up from the Hori FS3 that iâve been using the past two years. If i notice anything strange ill be sure to update.
I got my GG Xrd TE2 yesterday as well. I really like the heft of this thing! The foam bottom feels great too. I like the overall color scheme on this baby. Iâll be giving it a closer look and putting it through its paces through this week to try it out. I donât want to put a lot of mileage on my other stick, as itâs a collectorâs item, but this stick will be different.
I play both 2d and 3d fighters. If I can get this to work with a Myoungshin Fanta, this will become my #1, go-to stick for years to come (especially with the different layout panels coming in 2015). Iâll have to order a Hayabusa lever and Kuro buttons to try those out at a later date, maybe some Seimitsu part tooâŚ
Edit: Is it me, or are the GG Xrd sticks back on for sale at the MadCatz store? Someone on GameFAQs said they were back up and I checked⌠There they are.
Yeah the weight and the foam at the bottom are great. Iâve been messing around in training in ultra for about an hour and right away I took notice to the stability. When I heard about the hyabussa I wanted to check it out, but I feel that swapping out the stick right away would be a waste. Iâve never played with anything sanwa before today, the diagonals feel great compared to the old Hori. Maybe the switches were going bad in my FS3. The stick itself also feels a bit longer, but only just so. So far so good.
Did you make sure that the lock button was off? Also if you continue to have an issue please contact our team at http://support.madcatz.com then message me once you have have a support ticket number so I can follow the issue for you.
Hit refresh again. Iâm seeing all forms of the TE2 as sold out in the US store and the Xrd stick has been pulled from madcatz.com entirelyâŚ
I have a question for you guys with the TE2 for the playstations.
Does your stick completely closedown?
What I mean is I got my GG Xrd stick this past weekend and I noticed that when you close the lid down it doesnât completely closes flush with the side panels is like about 1/8" of an inch lifted in the middle of both sides, so if I press down in the center at either side it will go down and make a popping sound but it returns and lifts back to the 1/8" of an inch difference.
It doesnât make those popping or squeeking sounds with normal gameplay so I will not get it exchange, I just wanted to see if they were all like that or only mine
Just a heads up for anyone swapping buttons on the TE2s: the sanwa buttons that are installed on the stick have little plastic washers on them. You need to take these off and put them on the new buttons so they will sit flush and not wiggle. I didnât notice this until I had 5 buttons already installed and was wondering why they were so loose, looked back at the ones i took off and there were the little clear plastic washers.
edit: also the stick iS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@IanMooneâ the right side of mine makes a pop but i have to put a lot of force to get that. looks flush though.
Mine looks pretty flush to me, and I havenât noticed any popping noises either : / ⌠1/8 seems like a decent sized gap looking at a tape measure, is it really that much? Are you sure your wires arenât bunching up when you close the latch, or maybe the hinges are being blocked?
