Ordered my GG stick on Dec 3rd. I really hope I make the cutoff for the first batch.
It would really suck to wait until January when classes start back up, its going to be a busy semester.
Been looking around the internet and can’t find the dimensions of the plexi top. That’s removable, right? I play hitbox style and I’m looking to make a PS4 one for myself and the TE2 looks awesome, like 99% of the work has been done for me. Just need to swap out the top bit. So does anyone have dimensions of it so I can start gathering materials before mine arrives?
I’m new to having my own arcade stick and I ordered the TE2 after some consideration. I was wondering: can I swap in a Myoungshin Fanta lever on this? Is there any extra work or parts I would need to get to make it work? I want to be able to switch between that and the lever the stick comes with depending on the game I play. I just wanted to verify before I order parts from eTokki.
If you preordered and didn’t say sold out and got an email confirmation then yes you’ll get the first batch unless Mad Catz screws up and lets more preorder than they will get, but I doubt that will happen.
FYI Guys there’s a possible issue to be on the watch for in your TE2 as it comes “stock”. As you open and close the clamshell top its possible for the wire bundle for the buttons to end up pressed lightly against the underside of the joystick shaft. Unfortunately, if the wires end up in this position the metal tip of the shaft with the e-clamp will start to chew up the wires as you play.
It came to my attention when I opened the lid and saw a small pile of dust on the bottom of the compartment where the JLF is located. I took apart the whole JLF, but saw no parts wearing in the shaft itself or the gate/actuator. Only by opening and closing the stick several times with a flashlight to check on the final wire bundle position at close was I able to figure out what was happening. Sure enough, the dust was from the rubber being scraped off the wires.
The good news is that one zip tie to prevent the wire bundle from being able to move to that position solves the issue easily. It could also just be an isolated issue with the way my wires tended to position themselves upon closing.
Ordered my usf4 te 2(xbox) on Dec 13 and on the website it says it was shipped on the 15th but got no email saying it was being shipped just a confirmation. Also the money was put back and hasn’t been withdrawn. Does this mean it hasn’t been shipped or if it has any of you guys received yours so I get an idea of how long it’ll take?
