The next TGA ranbat will be in mid-late March. There is too much going on in early February (superbowl, tournament at NYClan, tournament at web2zone etc.) and Gavin will be out of the country for the second half of February. And then there’s Final Round in early March.
So keep your damn pants on!
TGA takes priority over any freaking local tournament man (not really, I’m just fiending to go back).

jk master chibi is right in that other games besides 3s need support too its just that 3s has a much wider audiance of gamers out their that want good footage so games like MB and AC wont get that type of footage alone it needs more people in their respected communities to put it out their more.

Why would Gavin have recorded a tournament where nobody had played the game before, and it was all horribly low-level play? Why not record a tournament with notable players whose names people recognize, who are coming up in the most widely-played 2d fighting game to date?
I mean don’t get me wrong, Guilty Gear AC is definitely a worthy game, but at this point? I dont want to see people experimenting…just watch the Jap vids.

Why does it have to be direct feed for that game especially since like dxp said noone is at high level at that game only because its a brand new game. If somebody really wanted it taped why didnt they bring a camcorder to tape it? Hell I saw some of the meltyblood players taping the MB matches same could have been happening for AC. Yea TGA is trying to support a variety of communities but the communities themselves could do their own part to get exposure. You’d be sure if 3S wasnt direct feed somebody would be recording the matches.
YES. But vids for AC would be good somebody should have recorded them and that doesnt necessarily mean the tourney runners or tga staff.

I’m the one who was taping MB, I taped the entire tournament.
And it was just that they took the direct feed OUT of AC, when they ahd already started recording, and then put it in 3S.
But whatever, it’s over with now ;p.

-on February 15th i’ll be leaving for Hong Kong and i’ll be back hopefully before mid March. This trip was unexpected and I have to go for a family reunion(people i’ve never met before but are the same blood).
So with this, i think this would be a good time to help out the other parts of the east coast communities as well. Seeing as they show up to our ranbats all the time and have to travel from a far distance, i think this is a great time for us (RI/MA/etc) to get out more and head to the big apple. I have a carpool of possibly these names: Me (driver), Juice, Smoothcat, Wallaide?, Wilson?, Ness?, and one more passenger which is on hold i believe. I’ll post up before we make the official plans, PEACEEE!
