I haven’t been to a tourny in forever, but I will be there!
Was wondering are there gonna be ne marvel get togethers on Fri since it seems like SG won’t be open, or will it? Also who is staying at the Red Inn, mainly are there any marvel players staying there?
I have to assume that the majority of players are staying at the Red Roof, I’ll probably be splitting a room with Josh Wigfall and company Friday-Sunday there, it looks like 90% of those attending reserved for that hotel so that’s the deal. I may be rusty at MvC2 but I know Josh is more than willing to whup you up…
I need a place to stay for Texas Showdown 6. Me and 2 of my friends want to go, but we don’t have a place to stay. D:

Still nobody has offered to house me.

Still nobody has offered to give me something to do/somewhere to stay until Friday when the team tournaments will let me meet up with peeps who are staying at hotel s, and whatnot.
No offense, but I am a little worrired. Especially since I’m running ECC11 this year and I’m willing to hook somebody up for reals if they give me a break here.

yeah…when I go somewhere and I am not given free transportation, free housing, and activities to do by someone else, I am getting fucked over :rolleyes:. Get a hotel and rental car like a normal person if you are so afraid of getting “fucked over”

I’m not getting a rental car because I’m 23 and will get raped for prices, and I’m not getting my own hotel room for one day becuase 1. i called and im not waiting on hold for 20 minutes and 2. im not willing to pay 100 bucks.
I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m being realistic here, I’ve tried everything and nobody has given me any kind of guarantee…I’ve gotten 100 “maybes” but right now this is not looking good…
Never posted here. My buddy’s been all over this thing for months now. I’ve recently decided to make the 4/5 hour drive and spend the weekend out there with him.
A couple of questions, though, without reading the entire 11 pages.
- Aside from the fighting genre, are any other genres going to be played?
- If I just want to go and spectate (since I’m not good with fighting games). What are my options for just getting into the place? Would paying online be better or just wait to get to the doors?

- it costs you nothing at the door, jus come on in and spectate if you will. bottom line, if your not playing in any game then yea its cool to jus come on in, if not then register for the game(s) your playing online cuz its cheaper and then when you show up you play.
DSP, if you jus need a place till friday i’ll look in to it, so again its a maybe but i can give you an answer soon enuff. i’ll pm you when i find out wuts the deal dude.
