As far as money matches are concerned…I don’t like them anymore…I dont need your money…i dont think many people deserve the right to play me for money IMO…I know what everyone is thinking…"what a cocky asshole etc etc u suck etc etc what have you done lately etc etc…"I’ve done my time in money matches big deal…I win I take your money and for some dumb ass reason you try again knowing you have no chance…

On the flipside…good players even lose to mediocre players that get called out because they have a weakness to a specific style…I know this…theres always that “one” guy that you cant beat…the same guy who doesnt do dick in tourneys…while you consistently place top 3…thats why they call you out…to many of you…100-500 dollar money matches might be a lot of money…that shit is just nickles and dimes to me…

Why don’t you bet money vs somebody during a tourney…whoever places higher than the other WINS…
If you really think you are better than the other person…PROVE IT at the tourney…PROVE to him that you can beat everyone he beats…PROVE to him that you are the real champ…WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE???LOL…embarrassment on the forums that you went out in 2 and that you are branded as a CASUAL player??

If I beat ANY of the OG players in tournament on an arcade cabinet, you should just retire. It’s that simple. If someone who you claim is so shitty and lucky at ST BEATS YOU…after I KNOW you have all been practicing regardless of what Cole says…then you should just give up and never play again. I think people should stop with “self-betting” in all aspects. I mean, $100-500 match over who can press buttons in a better sequence. Even in tournaments nearby for fps and others people can’t make that much money and you’re throwing it over the bench like you have plenty to spend.
that idea is nice and all alex. but you can it also matters who you play. one person could get an easy bracket compared to another person. too many things factor into it.

Its just like sports betting, there is always risks and random factors. If you are consistant though it shouldnt matter, rise to the occasion. I think this way of betting is pretty cool and its very different. It will also train most of you people to try a lot harder in tournaments then just accepting your mental blocks. Over come that shit, we need more top tier players. Not enough players shoot for the top anymore, kind of sad.

All I know is on console, DSP did hella good, but come on DSP…don’t kid yourself about arcade, you are still losing consistently in random EC tourneys at ST left and right, everyone here knows that. I’ll at least give you props on beasting in console ST, that was a hell of a run at EVL, but it’s just not going to happen in the arcade…
