Is anyone else a bit weary of the non-TE fightstick? I sort of feel like there is so much hype for the TE version (which seems well deserved) and the normal fightstick is coming along for the ride but what I see is a madcatz stick with all madcatz parts and with no detailed scrutiny being put on it with all these different media outfits gawking at the TE. I suppose I am still a bit apprehensive when it comes to madcatz products, especially when they arent properly canvassed.
crosses fingers hopefully the TE finds a way to Canada
I’m glad to see that the sticks are going back into production. I’m curious as to how long it would take for the extra ones to get out to pre-order customers (if you didn’t get one of the initial batches, how long would the wait after that be). This really takes a lot of worry off my mind though.
Is this your picture? Where was this taken? They look so pretty sitting there.
Nice pic,
I wonder who had to deal with lifting all those boxes!
What a poor sap
I got mine off of Play-Asia yesterday. I’m pretty sure that I got one of the last ones, as they are no longer taking pre orders.
Yay =)
As I asked in another thread do you know if Capcom/Madcatz are selling ALL the TE sticks via pre-order? Meaning, usually with most products companies will pre-order a certain percentage of the total being made but will always leave some available to be purchased at launch. Do you know if this is the case with the TE sticks or has every one being made been locked up with the pre-orders?
Yeah I’m having a hard time deciding whether to just order the fighstick or hope the TE is coming to Canada so I can order a second stick. I didn’t think I’d want TWO Tournament Editions but, well, here we are.
Wait a minute -

French? Doesn’t that usually mean a Canadian release?
I wish somebody would have told me about that before I ordered mine from there. I asked people about them too before I purchased if they had did buisness with them before. Man I hope they don’t screw me over.
! Nice find
So…is it over 9000?
you.
Posted in the last page, but will repost anyway.MadCatz talks about demand issues, more to come. Good job Madcatz, I’ll buy all the pads just as a thank you for both systems.
Looks like Madcatz is making bank on those sticks. I don’t have enough money to preorder a stick right now, so here’s hoping they make some extras.
Mark…trying to find out if this place is legit:
http://store.videogamecentral.com/xbox360-sf4-arcade-stick-tournament-edition.html
they’re still taking pre-orders…but people were wondering about their validity.
Hey Markman, whose idea was it to place both RT and RB on the face of the SF4 pads? Wouldn’t it be more intuitive (and quite frankly make more sense) to map the triggers on the controller LT and RT instead of LT and LB?
Markman, I assume the 360’s FightPads are lighter than the PS3’s due to no battery, am I correct?
Also, I’m wheelchair bound and sometimes play from my bed. What is the cord length of the FightPads and regular FightSticks?
Thanks in advance.
That’s my picture.
That’s actually my work desk.
Of course it’d be better to have one LX and one RX on the pad…
But it wouldn’t work perfectly via plug and play with SF4 then.
This is a SF4 product. So the goal was to have it work perfectly out of packaging.
Cause some people play with their fingers with the pad on their knee.
