I have the TE reserved at gamestop but I was thinking of getting a second one for when company come over. I was at Frys and saw a Hori with Soul Calibur art for $40. Is that a good price for it and is the stick shitty?

Someone in the other thread said that when he contacted gamestop if you didn’t get an email about a delay your pre-order was still valid
I wasn’t sure if his was listed as “backordered” or not
basically just wondering if there’s any way to tell whether you’re getting a stick or not if you preordered already from gamestop
A decent stick but definitely insuperior in many ways. Lack of sanwa buttons, much smaller in weight and scale…
Of course, if it’s for company YOU won’t be using it

This is what I heard from some of my GameStop fam. Yesterday, they met the quota for reserves and that’s why you can’t pre-order anymore. Even if you did pre-order there is still the chance you are probably fucked. Cause as it looks GS has more pre-orders than allocations, so hope, pray, or pre-order that bitch somewhere else like I had to for backup purposes.
And a side question, is any other site taking pre-orders for the TE stick that haven’t been dropped in the thread?
Hori really annoys me by whacking a new decal on the same awful stick and charging a premium for it.
If you’re buying this as an on-the-cheap stick, don’t bother paying more for the SFIV branded one. The SC4 is exactly the same, and both are barely worth the asking price as it.
I went to another gamestop…and guess what…NO ONE pre-ordered at all! I wish they could have made an exception for me. I want it dammit! ME WANT!

im makin sure im first in line to get mine, i dont feel like gettin screwed over by gamestop again, two times theyve screwed me over, once for the CE SCIV game and then another for the CE GoW2 game
Not sure there will even be a line for the sticks. I’m the only one who ordered a stick at our GS, as not to many really know about it. I’m worried as hell that GS jacked up the numbers though, and over did it.
Why are people so upset? It was stated a while ago that there will be short supply. And as said earlier, preorders have been open since November.

“it will be limited at 3000, and then we’ll see where to go from there”
when i went into gamestop yesterday the guy told me i was lucky because he just received a phonecall from corporate saying that 1/12 was the absolute last day for preordering.
my gut tells me corporate realized they mightve hit their inventory and that theres a possibility that these preorders might not be fulfilled. considering this is SRK, someone out there probably has an answer.
so if my pre-order (and yours) doesnt get filled, madcatz may make a 2nd release.
