Yeah… not quite sure why they picked Hyuk as their ace when they have Best or Bisu at their disposal. But whatever… it was really poor when Hyuk tried to deflect a bunker rush that was non existant and wasn’t mining for a good 20 seconds

People are sleeping on the rest of KTF if they think he’s their only ace option. Most relevant to this discussion- have you SEEN 815’s Blue Storm record? It’s like… 8-1 or something- with like one loss from GGPlay, but then again he beat Jaedong, Sea, and Best there last year (as well as Xellos and Midas but they were hardly in top form then). The guy should just change his name to Blue Storm now. Also of particular interest is Protoss’s winning record on this new version of Blue Storm, and the fact that KTF has Lucifer as their rising Protoss player (plus Nal_ra though he’s not a “win 11 ace matches in a row” caliber player at today’s high level).
So, given that Flash had just played AND just lost to Best, and the ace match was on what currently appears to be a Protoss-favored map, AND KTF has like the most successful Blue Storm player ever in 815… the line of thought seems to be that KTF would want to send their best Blue Storm player (815). All things considered, it seems like Hyuk was supposed to snipe 815. Too bad KTF seems bent on playing Flash as their ace after that debacle with Hery.

That match left SKT1 in 1st place by games, though KTF tied in wins (ie. full matches). Rankings have probably shifted a bit since then. Most notable- KTF 3-0’s STX, SKT1 loses 1-3 to WeMade.
lol, when he pulled those drones off the line, the whole time I was like “This would be hilarious if Flash wasn’t even setting up for a bunker rush…he was just there to do a bit of harassment” like, Hyuk was so scared that he had to play Flash that he was shakin hella hard just off two marines and an SCV.

That dood is all about macro, macro, macro! Seriously, in all games I’ve seen him play, that dood is crazy with expansions. You can not let that guy just expand. Once he starts expanding, it’s pretty much GG for you. I think 815 expands beautifully. Seriously, with the way he expands and then just fucking pwns you by just over running you with units, it’s incredible to watch. The whole time while I’m watching 815 matches, I just say to myself “it’s only a matter of time…it’s only a matter of time” and BAM! A billion hydras fuckin you in the ass.
Does anyone honestly think Best woulda beaten Flash if Flash had decided to scout? That loss vs. BEst was a fluke. He woulda got raped if he went up there again.
I don’t think anybody honestly thinks ANYBODY would beat Flash at this point =x
Except maybe Jaedong if he can get his ZvT act together again.
Outside of ZvZ i haven’t been too impressed with Jaedong lately. He’s lost his g-o-d status and is just an above average player imo.

Flash deserved to lose that one no matter how much of a phenom he may be. Also KAF might be better than CJ entus (tied right now I think) which is all thanks to Daezang being a fucking monster with goon micro.
If RoKAF ACE is indeed tied with CJ, it’s less thanks to Daezang and more thanks to CJ’s entire singles lineup sucking it up.
I suggest everyone watch the Gonzi vs. Kwanro games on the gomtv.net site. Really hilarious stuff. You can tell that Kwanro has that “I can’t believe i’m losing to this guy” look every single game.
