I almost guarantee 16 people would not be able to play the round robin on a daily basis in the first place. But regardless, if we did a round robin it would be one match games, best record makes semis. Semis would be 2/3 and finals would be 3/5. (Highest record goes straight to finals, 2nd and 3rd play in semis.)
We don’t need anyone to run it either, set a time to start the tourney, and whoever is there is in. How bout Sunday noon-ish, about 2 eastern time which is about 11 on the west. And we should have a cap on the time you can enter, like 5 or 6 est, so it doesn’t get out of hand.
Idea is we can start and finish on the same day, with people who are willing to finish, instead of waiting weeks on end for one tourney to finish.
lol… What about just blocking a ramp with zealots with goon or cannon support while reaver dropping. Dunno if you consider that “blocking off.” I dont really think this is all that hard. Beating 2-3 computers straight up is pretty easy.
Edit: Just did it with Zerg vs 2 Protoss… made 3 sunkens and game took me about 11 minutes. No early harass usage(4pool, 9pool… using drone to distract all their probes etc).
The thing about vs computer u gotta remember is they dont attack for a while so you are safe from all rushes(except 4pool lol) so like vs 2 toss you dont have to even make a single unit for the first 6-7 minutes and can start out fast expanding easily.
I play terran so i guess it makes it a little harder. Can’t just rely on sunkens. Lol i played like 3 times in a row and each time both computers would 2 gate zealot rush me. It was pretty ridiculous.
It’s not hard vs. 2 zergs and 2 terrans but 15 zealots running in your base semi-early is kinda ridiculous without blocking off.
if you’re terran just put 2 scvs at choke and marines in the back. The zealots will run around trying to get to the marines. But then again you did say w/o choking.
Man, that’s really short notice. I expect Flash to run through this pretty easy though. It’s gonna be Flash vs. Stork in the final match and we know how that goes.
