hahaa, yeah i noticed you didn’t go air, and plus microing goons to hit your mines to much work, so i figured if i mass Zealots and push the tanks good enough i can break in:wgrin:
late game toss very powerful.
nice move with the barracks in the beginning as well, did you float that in?
haha, the two drop ships actually kind of surprised me I didn’t think it would be that soon, but I had my zealot over on the far end so as soon as I saw it on the mini map i grabbed all my forces before you could drop on my probes.:wgrin:
I look down sometimes if i have to move from like attacking to mashing on buildings to build sometimes i’ll lose my place. If i was a true beast i’d just remove all the keys i don’t use and instanly become a Korean.
It looks like, as long as he isn’t cheesing, Flash is going to go early armory against 'toss like almost every time… poor Bisu got stomped.
Honestly though, I don’t see a reason for him to not go with the early armory strat since it’s working and his defense is so good that he can make up for the slower early production. How he defends 3 bases while putting up armories and getting fast upgrades is beyond me… but he does and then he’s throwing like 2/2 tanks melt those puny dragoons. And upgraded goliaths handle carriers AND arbiters for the most part so it’s not like he needs to adjust too much to deal with that kind of tech switch (add some sci vessels for EMP against arbiters for AWESOME).
As to Stork v. Lux… I honestly don’t see Stork winning this one. His PvZ is like 51% which is okay (not good, though, especially for someone who’s one of the top Protoss at the moment)… and his wins are primarily from the likes of Nal_keke and Orion, while the bulk of his Zerg losses are to Jaedong, sAviOr, July, GGPlay… and Luxury. And those losses are fairly recent- it’s not like he has a lot of old losses to bring down his percentage, he’s consistently losing to these guys.
Luxury’s vP isn’t too bad, at like… 54% I think. However he’s had recent wins over Bisu, Much, and Stork and he’s winning ZvP a bit more consistently lately, and you have to back to like June/July of last year to find the last time he lost 2 or more consecutive ZvPs… then again, he lost like 5 in a row then.
Another way to see it- the last time Stork beat Luxury was in May, the last time Luxury beat Stork was in December… but since their last game, Stork got thrashed by Jaedong and beat Rumble and Haran (oh snap) while Luxury lost to Anytime and beat Bisu, Much, and… Nal_ra??
And then there’s the fact that Luxury is a Zerg with momentum and lots of practice time for the matchup, whereas Stork’s recent play has been almost exclusively against Terran… ending in yet another first place opportunity going up in smoke.
