Starcraft tiers isn’t like fighting games b/c the map/stage has a huge effect on the game unlike fighting games where the stage doesn’t really do shit unless its tekken.
Luckily there’s no lag for me, but I have no clue what the hell is going on. Lots of words getting tossed around that I don’t understand.

No race is top tier overall- maps + players imbalance the game, not the races.
That said, when you look at results, you’ll find slightly more Terran champs than Zerg or Protoss (ex. 10 OSLs won by Terran vs. 7 by Protoss vs. 5 by Zerg; 8 MSLs for Terran, 3 for Protoss, 5 for Zerg)… however that’s a bit misleading, since of those 8 MSLs won by Terrans, 7 of them were won by Boxer, iloveoov, and Nada… who were incidentally pretty much the dominant players of their day.
A bit more variety for OSL winning Terrans, but more OSL wins for HUMANITY since so many people play Terran, because deep down, everybody who plays SC is a Boxer fan.
Also maps, since Protoss got raped by maps back in the day, and Terrans got a lot of nice maps.
Funny thing is that Terran was considered weak for a while, then Boxer started winning with dropships, creative proxy/cheese builds, and sick micro. Then Protoss was considered weak since mapmakers kept screwing them over and PvZ looked like “2gate, slowly die” for the longest time, then Bisu was like “lol FE -> corsairs, your bonjwa is just a Zerg.” I don’t know if there has ever been a period of time when Zerg was considered weak.

Awesome, thanks for posting these. Been playing off an on ever since the game came out, and started up again this past month. I suck pretty bad, but it’s darned fun.
This tournament sucks. No Jaedong and no Bisu. Sigh.
