eh, that’s really unnecessary, since he can do that with short and forward versions…if you’re asking him for a longer reach to get inside, while still having an uppercut-ish option, then i can understand the motive behind it. but really, i believe it’s unnecessary if he gets buffs elsewhere, like along the ground. suggestions would be nice!
Yes because its still tidious when you are passing a control around.
Not to change the character focus…but since we’re back to talking about character tweaks: I’d like to see Blanka’s L.Fierce to be a pinch more dangerous (it would be dreamy if it acted like Dictator’s S.RH…making opponents scared to toss wild projectiles) and S.RH’s hitboxes being slightly expanded. So it acts as a slightly better AA and hits standing opponents a little bit further than point blank range. On top of the ball recovery fixes Sirlin tossed in.
I don’t know…I just wanted my 2 cents on Blanka to be seen. I’m done now.
How do juggles work in SFII? I always found it rather random to bother understanding it, but sometimes you can juggle, and other times complete invincibility goes into effect. For example, Ryu’s j.mp x2, you get two and then invincibility goes into effect. Could the same not be done with Ken’s dragon punch? Only allow one more juggle? I fully get the idea behind what they were doing with Ken, but it does need sorting out to some degree.
Use strong/MP heabutt on fireballs, then youll see.
3 hit juggles for every move new to ST(supers, normals, specials). kind of archaic really=/
Then again…do we really need more juggles? :wgrin:
About chun keeping her stored super, it was from this vid: http://www.gamevideos.com/video/id/17990
Sirlin said the only thing he changed was her flip kick, and everyone assumed she kept her stored super (which turns out to be true).
I’ve been having some difficulty getting my moves to come out and i’m pretty sure it’s not my timing, anyone else experience this?
i hope we get to stage select.
orochi: hell no, moves come out like butter. its hella nice for me
it’s you.
agreed. everything is great and dandy.
OK I guess it’s just me then good to know.
When’s the king vs dsp MM? =P
Is there any word on how they are tweaking Claw. Are they nerfing him much or just beefing all the other charaters to actually fight him?
I think he needs a fireball. An air-fireball. A wall dive-air-fireball. :looney:
it would be fucking sweet if you could decide controls before a match begins
…i’m sure he’d complain about dropped inputs or lag offline.
oh yeah, check your pm’s.
LOL if it were MvC3, sure. :looney:
I never use Balrog, but I laugh whenever anyone uses the strong or fierce headbutt to avoid fireballs, as Dee Jay it makes it super easy to punish him with a jumping roundhouse into dreadkick.
i just watched the sirlin interview video. i’m really glad that t-hawk will see alot of change primarily the new command with his 360 grab. this will be much better because not only will it be easier to do but HD remix is running faster so imo constant 360’s will be harder to do on command.
obviously the new dive bomb will be great too heh.
Sirlin has said that throw properties will change so that you cant loop throw as easy. is this change for every character and how will this effect t-hawks/gief?
I hate Dan Hsu…he’s such a scrub. Anyway, thanks for posting the vid its pretty informative.
You won’t be attempting Typhoons nearly as much as in our beloved ST. Mainly because Remix Hawk now has a whiff animation for his Typhoon, so you should no longer attempt it as much, since you’ll be vulnerable if you whiff it.
All in all it’s a give and take, easier command but harder to land it. Mostly you attempted T.Hawk’s Typhoons after a tick, so it isn’t that hard landing his Typhoon consistently in ST.
Remix Hawk’s SUPER doesn’t have a whiff animation and the command has been altered so it’s possible to do walk-in SUPER now.
The removal of his corner throw loop is a necessity, would be hard to attract new players when a 7 foot native indian is slamdunking them repeatedly in the corner.
Furthermore he bounces further back after he lands a Typhoon or SUPER now.
One thing I’m gonna miss is j.jab xx Typhoon, that sequence is just lovely.
