Given all the requests, I should point out that Marvel refused Capcom’s request for the inclusion of Cyclops, Gambit, & Venom. On top of that, given how stubborn Marvel can be, they’re very, VERY hard to convince otherwise. So, with that in mind, I’d think twice before placing your request.

Marvel Character Notes;
For One I think they deserve it compared to other characters like Juggernaut, MvC3 doesn’t need anymore Power Hitters like Hulk and Sentinel
I can’t disagree they are good characters, but they are completely overpowered.
Capcom Character Notes:
Mega Man X deserves a slot, because I distinctly remember there being two empty slots on MvC3 and the only characters they came out with for that
version was Jill Valentine & Shuma-Gorath, why not Mega Man X, I mean I know Keiji Inafune left Capcom of his own accord, but that doesn’t mean an entire legacy of Mega Man should be thrown away. My second option Sigma, by far is one of the best villains in the series of Mega Man for one his constant revival in the series continued to be a challenge for me, but it was still fun at the same time. The last one of course will always be a fan favorite, i’ve been playing Onimusha since the PS2 came out when I was a little kid, and when they put Kaijin no Soki in TvC, it was good too see a familiar face from that series.
I personally want to see them bring that flair that they brought for Soki in TvC for Samanosuke Akechi in UMvC3, he would be perfect in the final roster along with Mega Man X and Sigma.

I doubt any of the 3 I offer up on either side will make it, especially considering the clamoring going on with regards to the Capcom side. Still, I’m all up for futile exercises that allow me to be needlessly wordy. So go for broke!
Before I begin, though, I have to point out this my agreement with this.
Pretty much. Anyone that Marvel doesn’t have an active interest in promoting (whether due to movies or comics) or, worse, tends to hate, like Cyclops, stand very little chance of getting in–hell, I’m still surprised that Doctor Strange supposedly made it in considering how much Marvel likes crapping all over him. People would probably do best to vote for people that have either appeared in movies or soon to appear in movies (i.e. Emma Frost), have been getting pushed in comics as of late (i.e. Miss Marvel) or just have a T & A factor (i.e. Shatterstar).
I mean, people are free to vote for who they want to vote for; I’m not going to contest that. I’m just saying you’re probably best off trying to pick at least one person you like that can actually get in rather than three really obscure characters or three characters that otherwise couldn’t stand a chance of getting in, especially if they’ve already been rejected (of which the list includes Cyclops, Gambit, Venom, Silver Surfer and some other people I’m forgetting; not sure if anyone has been officially excluded on the Capcom side).
Without further ado, let’s get dangerous.

[]Emma Frost a.k.a. The White Queen (X-Men) - When that leak list was supposedly revealed and I saw no women, she was honestly the first person I thought of despite all the clamoring for Sighlocke–I’ll talk about Betty later. Between her basically being Jean’s replacement, being in most recent X-Men related media and being a former villain & still quite morally grey character, she seemed like a shoe-in, especially given she was a (good) game before Jean was and half her moves write themselves between “mind bolts” and a Diamond Form super ala Hsien-Ko. And yet…nothing? Not even another X-Men character? Kinda surprising.
[]Monica Rambeau a.k.a. Photon (Nextwave) - She both fulfill the (semi-pointless) request of both another female and an actual black person (since unlike Storm, she’s actually American and not African–this is why I rage when people say Black Panther is “African-American”, but I digress) while being comical and not a complete unknown. While I don’t really see them choosing her (or anyone from Nextwave), it helps that Elvis M.O.D.O.K. got into Ultimate as his alternate costume. That shows that Marvel at least acknowledges it still and it’s been said to canon several times apparently, so she’s not completely doomed. Besides, she already calls her attacks, still rants about how she led the Avengers and it’d be nice to have another (female) character that can actually play keepaway since there’s only two (now that Phoenix’s air actions got nerfed) and both Trish & Storm are encouraged to rushdown, so…
[*]Nico Minoru (Runaways) - As with female characters and villians, the cast really needs more magicians IMO. For two dimensions utterly steeped in magic (at least in some Capcom games), there’s only two or three characters that arguably use (a lot of) magic and the only character that’s being added that is even remotely magical is Doctor Strange, apparently–I guess you could Virgil, but that’s kinda dubious counting just being not human as “magical”, half-demon or not. It’d be nice, especially since she’s the leader, though I could see them having issues with the whole “cutting” aspect to activate the Staff of One, which I guess would have its own issues if they wanted to stay true to its “one-ness”. Only other representative from Runaways with a good chance of getting would be Molly Hayes, but I can’t say I want another short character not named Megaman around, so…

[]Any Spider-man Villains - I just don’t see any of them getting in if Venom isn’t getting in and if Green Goblin, who I actually don’t like myself (fuck you, Clone Saga), probably would have the same issue with his glider that Silver Surfer apparently had with his board that kept him out. And given that pretty much all his other villains who aren’t Doctor Octopus or Electro, well, suck, I think it’s safe to say at this point, the closest thing I think we’re going to see to a Spider-man villain is Doctor Doom considering that Spider-man is apparently joining the Fantastic Fo…excuse me, Future Foundation what with Johnny Storm being dead now apparently.
[]Other X-Men - Of the people that seems popular and whom Marvel hasn’t already said won’t be making it, I’ve never liked Psylocke, personally, and would vote for Rogue, Jubilee or Dazzler, Cable and a bunch of other X-Men–+1 for Pixie–well before her. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not like I loathe her or anything and I used her in MvC2 sometimes…as an assist, which is exactly why I don’t get people voting for her: pretty much no one ever used her (well) on-point. I kinda don’t want a character who was only good at being an assist over other people who yet to have a chance to ever be playable. I’ll admit, though, she stands a decent chance of getting in compared to a lot of other people–if she makes it, they totally need to make her say “Prepare to face the totality of my psychic potential!” as her intro or whatever “totality” line Claremont used to make her spout all the time.
[]Elektra and/or Daredevil - It still seems really odd to me that The Hand stage exists without any actual representatives, though I guess Wolverine and Hawkeye kinda count. Still odd, though, and I’m hardly a fan of either to clamor for them.
[]Ms. Marvel - Probably the second female after Emma Frost I was surprised not to see given how hard Marvel seems to pushing her before I gave up American comics like three years ago. If they’re not going to push her, then I’m not going to. Nothing against Carol; I just like Rogue better in most instances.
[]Other Youngsters - Well, the Young Avengers would all pretty much be copies of people who have now made it into the game, so there’s out. Victor or Karolina are the only other characters from Runaways I can see making it and Victor is basically Hispanic cyborg Magneto, so he’s kinda disqualified. That leaves the Young X-Men, who have quite a frequent trend of getting screwed over and whom X-23 technically already represents, as nice it would be to see Surge or someone else who still has powers make it in.
[]Cloak and Dagger - As much as I like them, they come as a package deal…which is exactly why they’re really unlikely to get in. This isn’t Smash and the game already acts up when there’s 4 or more characters on screen as it is at times. The only way I see this working would be Capcom pulling a CvS2 Yun on them with only one of them being the controllable character and on-screen most of the time–probably Cloak–and just that seems like a tease that defeats the purpose.
[]Thanos - It seems pretty clear they don’t want him around for whatever reasons if they have both Nova and Rocket Raccoon in the line-up without him. Meh. Let him stay with Death. I’d rather have Adam Warlock or Moondragon or Ultron cosmic character-wise, especially considering how much Thanos sucked in MvC2.
[]Blade - Yeah…there’s no way in the hell this is going to happen with Wesley Snipes currently in jail, which is something Marvel wouldn’t exactly want to draw attention to/promote and not something they can make money off of; unless they turned him out of course. That no vampires are actually in this game just makes that even more obvious.
[]Black Panther and/or The Hood - Meh. Never really liked either of these characters. I must admit I am rather surprised one of them didn’t make it in already though, but, again, meh.
[]Other people from MvC2 - I don’t think I really care for anyone else except for Spiral, who would wreck utter havoc on the engine and probably cause the game to crash more than Frank West ever. So poor Rita’s not feasible.

[]Ruby Heart (MvC2) - Being one of the few people who actually used her quite a bit in MvC2 given that she was the closest thing I had to a main in that game, I’d be glad to see her return. In fact, I had expected her to when they said that MvC3 was going to (ha) have a coherent, more-fleshed out story given that her and Cable were basically paired up as the main representatives of MvC2. …And then neither of them returned… Besides, if she doesn’t show up here, she’s probably never going to show up again whereas Amingo & Sonson both already had appeared in other games IIRC.
[]Jin Saotome (Cyberbots) - He’s probably the person after Emma Frost who has the best chance of getting in of the people I’m listing considering he’s still popular (despite the fact that I doubt many of us ever even played Cyberbots). He’s at least still fresh in Capcom’s mind since Blodia apparently shows up in one of TvC’s endings, so he stands a chance, especially since almost all of his moves are easy to translate. Hell, he’s technically the inventor of Phoenix’s “desperation” comeback technique with that glowing critical mode. The only real problem he has, I’d say, is the whole “stripping down” aspect of his Dynamite move. That would…be tricky to work around with regards to the ratings and to the animation in 2.5D given how he blows all his clothes off & then they warp back on in the span of a second.
[*]Fou-Lu (Breath of Fire IV) - It rather pains me to vote for him over a Rival Schools character (not named Bowman or Chairperson or Batsu) or Tessa/Tabasa, especially having stopped with the BoF series at BoF III. However, I seriously feel we need more villainous characters and he’s probably the most likely person to get in from BoF besides Nina and maybe Katt given that Ryu has that pesky name problem… Still, a malevolent dragon god? What’s not to love about that?

[]Rival Schools characters - As stated above, it rather pains me to vote for a character from a game that I never got to play (though I like the Breath of Fire series as a whole) over a game that I feel constantly gets passed over or screwed over. looks at CvS2 Kyosuke and weeps Literally almost anyone from this game would be awesome to see besides Bowman, Chairperson or Batsu (but that’s more because Batsu already appeared in TvC), though I’d prefer Yurika or Kyosuke or Zaki before others. It probably won’t happen though, sigh.
[]Tessa/Tabasa - As mentioned above, it also pains me to not vote for her, especially given the “need” for magicians and female characters, but the zoning game she had in (that horrible) SNK vs. Capcom game is likely to be taken up by Doctor Strange since I really can’t picture him being rushdown. Still, it would be nice to see them interact…
[]Gene - Never played Godhand. It looks really fun though. I hope he gets in, actually, but he doesn’t need help considering how close he sounds like he is and is more likely to get in than a Megaman character. So I’m not going to “waste” the vote.
[]Megaman characters - Speaking of wasted votes, as much as I like (most of) the Megaman franchise, it seems rather apparent that Capcom can’t give much of a crap about any version of him (with regards to this game), especially with Inafune having left and Legends 3 having been related. I’m not going to say they “hate” him or that his franchise is “dead”, but he doesn’t seem nearly as popular with them as with us, especially if they’re going to use the BS excuse of him not having a sufficient movepool when he has more potential moves than Dante. Furthermore, I don’t understand why so many people are clamoring for X over any other version of Megaman. I mean, I like X and all, but just seems really odd to clamor for the only version of Megaman that’s a pacifist for a fighting game, especially when there’s already another character from his particular series in the game (as much as I usually don’t like Zero). I think I’d honestly vote for Sigma over X at this point because, really, if I wanted someone who’s likely going to be a whiny bitch about fighting, then I’d petition for Dan.
[]Street Fighter characters - As much as I still feel Akuma’s spot is rather wasted, I honestly can’t see anyone who hasn’t made it in bringing anything substantial to the games sans Dhalsim, who was so damn technical in MvC2 that even after 10 years no one ever used him (or Anakaris) to the fullest potential.
[]Darkstalkers characters - I would have liked Talbain/Gallon to make it into something else considering he has very few transformations compared to most of the cast (beyond his initial intro) and he even actually knows martial arts, but apparently that’s too much to ask, so we got…Felicia. is still bitter about this given he doesn’t see the appeal of catgirls
[]Onimusha characters - I haven’t played these games in forever and I think I only played the first one, which didn’t manage to hold my interest for long. Still, Samanosuke might be interesting enough to merit support/representation given what little I remember him. It’s very little, though, and I’m not exactly a fan of sword-wielders… I imagine that historical figures being off-limits doesn’t help.
[]Resident Evil characters - With Nemesis supposedly making it in, I honestly don’t think there’s anyone else that could be asked for given that Chris already fulfills zoning, Jill rushdown and Wesker a mixture of the two.
[]Final Fight characters - Meh. Maki would be interesting to see again, but everyone else seems like they’d have an awkward time fitting in. Hell, Haggar’s still rather awkward for most people to control properly even after 5 months and he has one of the best assists in the game.
[]Uh…what’s left? - Monster Hunter? Vulgus? Plasma Sword? Sorry, never played those and I barely remember Power Stone or Dino Crisis and Jojo’s off-limits or else Jotaro or Dio would be like the second thing I voted for. So…

Ouroborous should be a level 1… And even then, this game has x factor, negating chip damage, so maybe it’s best as a level 3… Still that defeats the purpose of his constant ring offense. May not be needed though considering the damage in this game and the crazy combos.
What the heck is up with the damage? It’s enormous. It’s reminding me of sf2. And this is marvel.
Make joe a lot more like his actual game counterpart. Remove viewtidful handjob. A zoom mode would be nice, and a speed mode. They could deplete meter like ginei jin. Also slow could be like this. Slow and zoom combined could be a level 3, or speed and zoom combined. Maybe a free “ender” super at the end of em like a groove. Fatser bombs and voomerangs would be nice, liking the universal dodge move. What would be even cooler would be to have the mode supers like ex’s that just waste meter… But of course this may make him too powerful. eh. He should be, he controls time and physiscs to an extent.
