Capcom should give Ryu his hadouken feint and let him do shakunetsu hadouken as a normal special, and give ken back his sweep.

A game where that statement represented every character would be amazing (POTENTIAL).
This forum should be promoting an approach to game balancing that results in every character being closer to achieve what the SF4 Akuma character design successfully achieved (potential limited only by player skill).

Why does everyone think im trolling, look at any SF game Kung Fu characters are always top tier, which in real life kung fu is one of the weakest martial arts, Akuma got nerfed because of all the scrubs whined about him, hopefully next test Tokido will put in a word to capcom so he gets buffed, also anyone who thinks Fei has been nerfed before did you even see Mago twitter he even said “is that all?”

What are you talking about Fei is Top tier in every version of SF2 he has TOD combos everywhere, Alpha 3 console version he was broken too, and the person who’s playing Gen is a scrub playing gen for free wins.

Head stomp severely nerfed (hit box worse, and from active until ground to active for 3f…)

FADC DP, Head stomps on a few characters (still technically there but prohibitively difficult)
Dive kick severely nerfed (speed is slower, hit box is worse, hit stun and block stun are worse)
As a result of the first dive kick nerf, many safe jumps changed and a few were lost alongside their OS. As a result of the second dive kick nerf, it’s much riskier to do.
Ultra 1 trap (hahaha this was cheesy as fuck though)
Ultra 1 nerfed (40 more damage for 380 oh and loses to fast fireballs and anything that is active before the cinematic begins, slightly buffed with 2012)
Teleport severely nerfed (recovery jacked way up, very slightly improved one teleport with AE)
Super nerfed (damage down by 30? iirc in exchange for more invincibility which is generally useless…)
Super and Ultra 2 still do not have true pursuit property (think Gouken’s EX Tatsu), resulting in getting punished on hit occasionally (Ultra 2 is more of a problem than the Super, since the Super will just drop without the final hit and you’ll recover in time.)
Ultra 2 severely nerfed (lol invincibility frames nerfed into oblivion, also, recovery time is still pure shit)
DP OS severely nerfed (can still threaten the opponent with it, but can’t threaten with mix ups without three bars.)

This list is really long and I don’t know all the nerfs they did from Vanilla to Super. It would probably take up a whole page though, more so than Akuma’s or Seth’s changes.
It gets old but at the end of the day you still enjoy the character so bitch about it for a day or two and move on. (I hate st.HK with a passion as it hits both my characters, so I looove the -2 but since it’s a new nerf, you get another day of salt.)

NJ HP nerf proved to be not nearly as big a deal as people thought. People are overreacting yet again and Seth will continue to be a good character in the next update. So will Akuma, now he only has one less tool to use to abuse. Get over yourselves, Yang/Seth/Akuma/Yun/Viper are still all going to be strong.
Also wow Tiger uppercut do so little damage, and fei dp does so much its ridiculous.
Also rufus the kung fu fake scrub u2 anti air nerf was needed it so stupid, its meant to punish fireballs not punish everything, it does everything cammy’s ultra 2 does and more, can punish armor breaking moves.
Other Ultras (not just those of the “kung fu” characters) can punish fireballs, jump-ins, etc., too. Why just bitch about Rufus? Why not bitch about everyone?
