I dont have much time and nobody has responded yet to my post in the padhacking. I just wanted to know if theres a diagram on how to hack a brand new official sony dual shock 2 like just bought from the store for im switching out the pcb out off my hrap 2 sa so my stick will work with my gamecube mayflash joybox adapter. I know mostly what to do but i want to make sure i dont have any mistakes.
Please all advice would be welcome.
Also i have searched the padhack forum but didnt get any details on exactly how the solderless setup worked. and ive done a google and checked slag coin and didnt see any for the ps2 pad just for the psone pcb
I don’t think you’re going to find anything easy and solderless that’s PS2. From what I’ve read the PS2 pad is considerably harder to hack. You will want to get your hands on one of the late A PS1 Dual Shock controllers.
All you have to do with these is remove the plastic overlay from that connector in the top right corner. You can then stuff it full of 22 gauge wires and then hot glue it down. Put quick disconnects on the other end of the wire and call it a day.

alright i just opened up the controller and its even newer than the one in the picture
has very slim contact points that are black anyone modded this one before?
EDIT also could i combine the common ground and power of this and my hrap pcb i just need this so my mayflash joybox will recognize my controller if i combine the common ground and power to my hrap pcb will i still be able to use the hrap psb with through the ps2 pcb?
