Good games to all who came on Tuesday and Wednesday. Slash is freakin’ awesome. The game feels so much better now, despite the increased pushback and lack of option select. Hell, when I first started playing I was trying to option select air throw all the time; something I quickly learned to stop doing. It’s a nice change though, since it adds risks to throwing like many other games. Pushback is just amazing in that game; some bread and butter stuff that would normally work in XX/#R don’t work anymore. Character changes are awesome as well. Eddie is actually balanced. :wow:
One thing I didn’t like were the sticks. Personally I hate P360s because the diagnals are practically 1 pixel and need to be hit precisely to register. Being that I play Sol, and typically play on square gate Japanese sticks, nine times out of ten I got a running Bandit Revolver because I went just slightly over the diagnal. Since Slash’s input system was changed (you can now do running fireballs), running Bandit Revolvers was the result most of the time. 
Overall it was great though.

Also, why is the 3S machine on such a shitty monitor? The game looks absolutely terrible on that tiny little machine. I played a few 3S games while I waited for Slash and it made me sad.

All the other players we met; Thanks to every one of you for making the trip memoriable and fun for us; this was the first time as a crew we’ve played in an arcade setting, and really tried to play our best to win games since… atleast a year now. It brought back some of that passion to play games!

Poolboss: Thank you so, so, so much for getting Slash for the arcade and running such an incredible arcade! It’s tiny, but it’s so clean and has all the important games! I will definiately visit again sometime in the near future, when I have a bit more funds and will to drive the drive again.
And if any of you guys want specific help in Slash, please feel free to post on Dustloop or here, or the Reno thread and I will personally help you in any manner.

What’s the comp in the area like? Do you guys have 3-4 regulars playing around school hours? Are you guys open on weekends? I am definately interested in playing the game and going to an arcade for the first time in over a year, haha. It would be cool if there was competition on the weekends, I am actually heading out to SF tomorrow anyway (Saturday). Hopefully someone responds back before then…
