Apparently, A.B.A. is also under review…as is Anji. Apparently, the add of the ground bounce may become the new Dust Loop…let’s hope not (especially after Arc put so much work into getting rid of the last glitch that did that)

Him:*dust loops? As in more than one? Oh no, my fiend, I mean THE Dust Loop. The practically unbreakable chain combo that earned Sol his place as one of the cheapest GG characters playable. And I can see why Order Sol would be dissalowed. Bringing the old GG sytems into the GGXX gameplay literally makes him twice as broken as Kliff and Justice compined (both EVO banned) or any of the EX characters.
Honestly, the main reason I think no one wins with Order Sol in Japan has to with the fact that Japanese fighting gamers either a) forgot how to use the olf GG system, or b) don’t allow themselves to use him to his cheapest potential. Even that being said, I could care less what people in Japan play like. EVO does not cater to the Japanese way of playing, anyoo.*
I’m not sure what to be more bothered by, the fact that actually banned characters in Slash for EVO or that this guy thinks Japanese players won’t play cheap if it’s available to them ( Oh yeah? ¬.¬ ). Then he says EVO doesn’t cater to japanese way of playing…which I don’t really understand cause if cause by his logic the japanese don’t play cheap then that means EVO caters to cheap fighters right? So if Orders Sol is so cheap ( BARF ) why’s he being banned?
Anyone know any truth to this as far as EVO goes? I mean none of those characters are anyone I’m gonna pick up but I’d like to think there wouldn’t be any handicaps in this day and age of competitive gaming.
Oh and I thought Kliff Justice and the EX chars were banned cause they weren’t in any of the arcade version of Reload/XX…doiye.
No. You can play any character at EVO, don’t worry. Your friend is just full of shit. EVO doesn’t ban characters because of combos. @_@ (You cannot play as Kliff / Justice, because they are not arcade playable characters.)
Wow. Kugler called me up on my cell phone to tell me about this. Good thing I was stopped at a stop light or I probably would have crashed from laughing so hard. Seriously… I was in tears when he read some of that LJ post to me. This stuff was just too fucking funny.

Yeah, just 1 night; the 14th. What hotel do you work at, exactly? And how far is it from the campus? We were looking at the Day’s Inn, and would prefer something really easy to find, because we’re completely new to SF.

So Rounin and them are also coming too? When I used to play Sirlin like hell back in the day, he told me stories about you guys…can’t wait to play against the crew.
7 people total is perfect, actually. Don’t even worry about the comp bro, just play to have fun. We can teach you stuff if you’d like, or whatever. Honestly, the comp part really isn’t an issue for us, because we’d be happy just to show up to your arcade and dump a couple hundred of dollars into the Slash machine. :D~
