Yo, I have a quick question about putting custom fw on a slim. When I use a fat psp to make pandora’s battery and such, do I have to use that battery with the slim? Eh, I should probably look this stuff up but why not ask. Thanks.
Nope, you need 3.52 M33 and update 4 before you can install 3.71… Make sure you do a proper read up on 3.71 M33 as there is quite a few ways you can brick if you’re not careful. I heard some people were bricking off using plugins before formatting flash1, I have no idea why though. I don’t know if they’ve fixed that in update 2 but just be careful. Personally I would just go with 3.52 M33-4 untill there’s an actual reason for you to go to 3.71, but if you want to then go ahead…
No, once you turn it into Pandora, it stays like that till you turn it back into a normal battery. Also DON’T turn your Slim battery into a Pandora because it wont work and you’ll have a nice little bricked battery…
i’m sure that developers are getting on to it. Making it the best they can’t so it can emulate or homebrew apps smoothly as it can. Just gonna have to wait it out on newer versions of whatever ya want to get.
Does anybody know if Sony patched the Lumines hack yet? I’m new to PSP homebrew and I plan on buying a larger Duo stick, but I can’t snag the authentic version of the game online without a credit card. Will used versions of the original release work just fine to downgrade? I’ll probably just hit up EB or Gamestop in that case… because I want to buy it as cheaply as humanly possible. Better yet, I may just hit up Blockbuster and rent it. What’s the word?
EDIT: Nevermind. The first page told me what I have to look for in order to differentiate between patched and unpatched versions. Thanks guys.
Ok so I’m ordering the PSP from Amazon (I really want a white or silver one, but don’t want that extra shit) I want order PQ also…should I? Or Should I order PQ1 and PQ2?
Is there a place or somewhere online I can find offical Sony analog stick nubs? I lost mine and I bought some temporary ones at Gamestop today cause playing Tomb Raider uses the analog.
