If those are the same slowdowns you get when you play the PS1 ISO (maybe it’s actually better), I thought they were intended, and I liked the effect…
Regarding FFT 's slowdown - It isn’t THAT bad, just like a second delay on some skill and magic animation. You’ll hardly notice it.
You’re missing Jeanne D’arc
No love for Loco Roco…? I freaking love that game lol I’m excited about the 2nd one that’s coming out in like 2 weeks or something like that
shyt man, you’re missing Exit and Crush.
and Metal Gear Acids.
and Dj Maxes.
and… I can go on forever.
Jeanne D’arc was fun while it lasted, but it’s a pretty short game.
It’s really easy to lvl up to 99.
After that, the game’s really just meh.
Not to me, I noticed it alot it. Its real annoying cause stuff on the ps1 verison that didnt have any slowdown has slowdown on the psp one.
What are you talking about?
just like to add that my backpack was opened when i got home. i’m glad i still have my psp. love ya baby.
keep that shit in your pocket meng
I heard there’s less slowdown if you use the slim… can anyone confirm?
omg u 4got street farter alpha 3! :crybaby:
(just got TKDR and it rocks!)
why does the psp battery suck some much ass? I have it on the lowest brightness and medium volume,I’m lucky to get a day(4hrs?) out of it.
Hmm, maybe you just got unlucky with a shitty battery. My PSP used to last for days on low brightness settings.
yeay right! Metal Gear Acid was dope, it had a good story too.
the story is Acid 2 wasnt as good… but the overall improvements to the game were incredible!
the art style is gorgeous, the battle modes can have hours upon hours sunk into them, and the 3D movies were one of the best bonuses you could get!
Exit and Crush are both action puzzle games (the kind of games where u control a character and try to beat a stage)
Exit involves saving people and leading them to the exit, they can also help you do things like lift boxes and use items and stuff.
Crush involves solving a stage by “crushing” the level to switch it from 2D to 3D. This causes for many well hidden bonuses as well as items needed to clear the stage.
Crush is rather new so it’s still $30, but you can get Exit for $10 or less at Frys (or even ebay). Be warned tho both games are not very quick paced and do require patience, trial, and error, but I love those so it’s all good!!
You also forget Megaman Powers Up and Ultimate Ghost & Goblins to your list =P
Tony Hawk portable is sum hella enjoyable gaming as well (if your dpad is modded that is)
and don’t forget Lumines, the PSP equivalent of crack.
I just started playing it(the US version) and I notice it too. Special Attacks, potions, spells, you name it. And personally, I’m having a hard time getting used to the new names.
However, the new translation and cut scenes are solid as hell so it’s a good trade off.
Has anyone tried playing the PSX version on pops?
Hell fuck yeah. Every day I go to work with my psp in my pocket. (it fits somehow into pockets that SHOULD be too shallow for it…even with the silver Madcatz protective case)
Anybody know where I can just walk in (no online!!, in case you weren’t sure, or lacked rc skills) and get a 4gb duo card for maybe 50-60 bucks? I wanna got half cash, half credit on it. And i don’t wanna see anything about Fry’s. We don’t have those here.
that’s the in-store price. If they don’t have any, go across the street to best buy and tell them to look it up online and they’ll give you 110% the difference
Sweet! …I really hoped the chubby guy who tried to get my digits last year doesn’t work there anymore…
Fixed.
btw: The first Coded Arms was good, but the controls kept it from getting better reviews; the sequel is great (same non-important control problems) and has online play (and is still getting worse reviews than the original; sad, really). Skip the original; pick up the sequel…
