Official PSVita/PSP chat thread

Where I live, unless you have full university education, a PSP game costs AT least 1/10 of your monthly salary. AT LEAST. I’m not excusing myself, but I’m just a student, and no students here can make some real money unless they are geniuses, of which I am not.

BIGWORM: I don’t know any site to download games, but virtually all apps and homebrew can be find at dl.qj.net.

i might know of a few places…

it seems like there’s no end to jeanne d’arc. i’m about 30hours into the game and i dont think i’m anywhere near the end.

3.6 m33 is out already? jesus.

Just picked up one of the new slim psps. All I can say is i’m glad I waited, cause T5:DR is actually playable on this thing.

damn i shoulda waited for slim, oh well…

How did you get your SRK forums colors like that? and also, how did u get rid of the ads??

on a PSP related note, i just watched the intro to FF:CC…dopeness…too bad i have to wait for the US release so i can read what i’m playing.

Quetion for 3.6 M33 users:

Can you run Popstation and TV-out through the custom firmware?

Are the slim PSPs moddable EASILY?

donaldducktm: The colors and no-ads are Premium Member benefits.
1: I’m no 3.60 M-33 user, but I know that it works just like the original 3.60, so it works.
DaDesiCanadian: The hard part is getting somebody w/ Classic PSP to use his battery as Pandora. After that, it’s no big deal.

Well, I have a classic PSP. Is the battery useless once it’s used as a Pandora? And instead of answering my 100 stupid questions, is there a link?

Not at all, you can convert it back to a normal one after you finish using it to install the CF in your PSP Slim.

I’m looking for a tutorial for you, because all the ones I know how to get at instant speed are in spanish. though I’m a very patient person, so keep asking if needed, np with that.

EDIT: Just found one: http://forums.noobz.eu/downgrader-support/pandoras-battery-jigkick-battery-and-magic-memory-stick-tutorial-guide/0/

My friend was telling me about some program for psx games. When you move over to one on your memory stick it causes it to react like a psp game, you know with the demo and background pic. Does anyone know the name of this?

Anyone know what firmware Crisis Core runs on?

PSX2PSP, where you can use custom background, demo video, demo music, etc. when convertig your PSX games to PSP format.

not sure if you guys heard this but the rumor is that after you beat crisis core there is a video of a preview for a FF7 remake.

here’s where i got the story from.

Wow, that looks scary. They probably have downgraded PSP slims at pacific mall(massive asian mall which sells everything bootleg), i should probably check there instead of trying it myself.

Aww, you’re just being lazy =P.

No, I almost bricked my PSP doing a simple 1.50 to 3.30 oe-a upgrade . I’m just horrible with technology.

are psp’s with 1.5 worth more then newer ones with updated firmware? or are the pretty much the same?

Depends on who’s buying and who’s selling. Obviously people who want to mod it, use homebrew, and pirate games will value the 1.5s more, but people who just want to use the PSP for games, buying legit stuff, and no need for homebrew will want the newer system.
