I won’t have an issue dropping 100 bones on a memory card if I can rip my own UMDs and play those. As it stands, so far I’m happy I didn’t pay for this. I know Sony just isn’t into BC anymore, but BC is super important to me. I have like 30 umd based games I’d love to play right now. I’m not about to rebuy my old fucking games.

Yeah. What you can do is deactivate all tied systems from your PSN account, then reactivate each one at a time.
Yeah, the PSP games look worse. I tried Persona 3 on it, and it looks blurry. Everything looks soft, not sharp. TRU didn’t have any memory cards at all, just shit you wouldn’t buy anyway, like the docking station & game card holders. I do have that game card holder and use it, but it came with my system. My Vita Travel Case came from Amazon along with a 2-pack screen protector I ordered. I failed hard putting on the first one, and been naked since Iv’e had it.
I’m not sure how that works because I didn’t have a problem activating my Vita, and use 2 PS3s. I remember Sony saying all games before a certain date still have 5 activations, and then the new ones have 2 activations, so technically you should still be able to use 5 PSN systems. Vita for sure is only 2 because it came out after the rule change.
So whats you’re guys take on the Vita getting sort of hacked at the moment? You think Sony should let the homebrew market be and do what they want?
Honestly, the hacking should only go as far as homebrew, and no include ISOs/CSOs. Of course, that’s always said, and of course, someone comes out with an ISO/CSO exploit, and of course Sony wants to batten down the hatches. =/
Honestly, I don’t want any homebrew on Vita, seeing its direct results on PSP.
I’m at a point where I can actually afford games I want to play, as opposed to just downloading them all. :lol:
My take is, I don’t really care about it one way or another, until it starts to affect me negatively. I always hated how PS3 had firmware updates every other week. Also if they hack it like PSP allowing games to be played for free, developer’s will abandon the system the same way and no new games. I was glad they hacked the PSPgo, so I could put my UMDs on there, but Vita is a new system, no legitimate reason for it to be hacked. If you have PSP games that you want to play, you can use your PSP or if you bought off PSN you can use your Vita.
Homebrew/hacking isn’t inherently a bad thing. I noticed that Vita has a recovery console that looks a lot like PSP CFW’s recovery console (you even hold R trigger + power + Home to bring it up-- in PSP CFW the command is L trigger + power). There’s a lot of stuff that Sony adopted for PSP from homebrew devs who had better ideas for that handheld. The problem is hacking invites piracy, which arguably outweighs the benefits of a hack scene.
Grab a bunch of PSP games, or get Ninja Gaiden Sigma? =/
Have you played that version of Ninja Gaiden? I thought it is just a port of the PS3 game, which was a remake of the xbox game.
Were you going to buy PSP games for Vita? I might pick up Resistance and Killzone on PSN, Resistance will be better with that 2nd stick, Killzone I think doesn’t matter. I’m going to have to get a bigger card, but nobody has 16GB in stock. May just have to get the 32GB.
I’m starting to see a lot of Vita commercials now, but they actually should have started before launch.
Yeah, I think Sigma for the Vita is a port of PS3 port haha. I was looking at Power Stone Collection and MM Maverick Hunter. Was also looking Tekken 6, but screw paying $40 for that!
It’s just Ninja Gaiden Sigma with a few thoughtless extras like mini missions (kill everybody, do this or that before time runs out, etc). If you already own any version of Ninja Gaiden 1, buy something else. NG’s one of the all-time greats, but it’s hard to recommend paying so much for a straight port (that runs at 30 fps).

So what games you guys playing right now? Also has anyone tried using the friends\party chat feature yet? We should get a SRK Lobby or something going for games like HotShot Golfs or other games that take advantage of Multiplayer and shit. My PSN for vita\ps3: Spycarnegy Uncharted is just as good as the console versions I’m like having the greatest time with it.
Im just playing lumines but I might bite on Dungeon Hunter Alliance since it has online…I got it for ps3 but kinda stopped playing it, wish I could transfer it from my ps3 account so I dont have to buy it again. Also screw the 3g version… I have free wifi tethering on my phone, so its basically the same thing 
Bought Ultimate Ghouls N’ Ghosts. I might hold out and get a extended battery grip case for it.
