Official PSVita/PSP chat thread

looks good. I might just have to snag one.

Does anybody know if they made an ā€œofficialā€ Sony crystal case for the Go that sells in Gamestop? Just curious, though it’s most likely no and I’ll have to order one online.

No component in for an HD-Tv? Wow.

Anyway, the adapter i linked to looks better imo, as it is a lot cheaper and charges the Go as well. So no need to buy the cradle or any other cables for it if you don’t already have them(which i don’t, i just got my PSP Go a few weeks ago).

Also my cheap 19" Emerson HD-TV has component-in.

I’ve also heard they make a version with HDMI, but i’ve only ever seen the component one…

Nope, only 3rd party makers have them. Good quality ones are dirt cheap on e-bay at least, though usually from foreign sellers so they’ll take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Ordered one for my Go but have not received it yet.

It’s a monitor designed for computers, it isn’t a hdtv, it doesn’t contain a tuner.

I actually have the cradle and cables already, I hook up my go to my plasma TV in the living room.

I got the official soft case & component cables cheap at Fry’s, they were clearing the stuff out.
I paid like $5 each, or some shit like that.

Got my PSP Go crystal case in today. Cost about $2 shipped from an e-bay seller in hong kong, and about 2 weeks to receive.

Sturdy quality, ports/buttons/speakers accessible, attaches securely, makes the unit thicker, protects from scratches, dirt, finger prints, bumps, etc.

Care to show me a link? And if I get the crystal case, would that make purchasing a thin plastic screen protector to protect the Go’s screen redundant?

For those of you with PSPs linked to PSN:

Yes very redundant lol, as it adds a nice layer of protection to everything. The case is a nice secure fit also, so you probably wouldn’t be able to fit both on at the same time.

And i just found a reliable seller(good feedback) on e-bay that was selling one as cheaply as possible. Like this one:

2way Sony PSP GO Open Crystal Protection Case Clear New | eBay

Guys, can you post prices of 3000s and Gos in the places where you live? For those that don’t know, I’m looking to buy one ASAP.

Brand New or used?
Brand new PSPgo is $200, if you can find it because it is getting phased out.
PSP 3000 is $130.

I thought Gos were $150 last time I checked.

And have any of you guys used Joysens to recalibrate your PSP’s analog stick? My 2000s stick just started acting up ever since I played 3rd Birthday on it and I tried recalibrating it but it’s still going crazy. Maybe I’m not using it right, or perhaps the analog is really dead. :shake:

Naw, Sony lowered it from $250-$200, other vendors then had sales on that price for another $50 off making it $150. Any place you check will have it at $200, but most places got rid of it altogether.
Walmart, Target, Amazon don’t sell it anymore.
Bestbuy only has limited stock.

The retailers I’m sure I gearing up for NGP, and trying to wash the PSPgo taste out of their mouths. LOL

Ichipoo, that usually happens when the pcb of the analog loosens. 1st option is to try to tighten the screws behind it.

I guess I could give that method a shot again, despite it not working on my first 1000.

Got my 16GB m2 card for my PSPgo, so now I have 32GB portable monster.
I have the Sega CD EMU on there and will load Neo Geo and the rest.

Transferring shit is slow as hell though, I’m only going to load up a few things now, rest later.

So I just bought my Go and luckily for me, it’s OFW below 6.20. Can anybody help me out with you know what? I want to try out my emus.

All I know is that the ā€œsafestā€ CFW that the Go can install is 6.20 Pro-B4.

Minus P3P what game should I pick up? Im finished Kingdom Hearts and honestly a number of games just dont interests me. My PSP is litterally my MP3 now lol

I have 6.35Pro firmware, which is a cool soft mod. You just select it in the game location and it re-boots the Go into the Pro firmware, which looks exactly the same but allows you to run homebrew like iso loader and EMU.

6.20 TN is one I heard about, you might want to check that one first. I haven’t been able to run PSX games through emulation, it locks my shit up, but maybe 6.20 will work.

so psp remakes for ps3…

Just watch, hordes of people will be requesting any PSP game Nomura and Kojima had their hand in such as Dissidia and Peace Walker to be remade for the PS3. XD
