I installed Prometheus (PSP homebrew: M33-Prometheus Installer v2.0) on my 5.00 M33-6 PSP, and my legit NeoGeo Heroes UMD (ripped to stick) works like a champ! :woot:
As for the game itself⦠:bluu:
3rd Birthday trailer looks good⦠reminds me of the more imaginative 90s Squaresoft. sm76mX7AwOo&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - The 3rd Birthday Gamescom 2010 Trailer [HD
The gameās producer says we might see a Parasite Eve update on PS3 if this game sells well
So iām thinking about making the jump for the PSP. Valkyria Chronicles II, Peace Walker, and the new KH game look way too good to pass up. Iāve heard that the PSP 3000 model is better than the PSP GO, so should i just go with that?
One thing i am worried about is the PSP2, or whatever succeeds the PSP, will be announced next year. Would it be better to hold off? Or should go ahead and get it.
Iād just get a used one to hold me over until the new Android PSP comes out.
Iāve sunk 70 hours on Persona 3 Portable.
Iāve sunk 150 hours on MGS:PW. Now really looking forward for 3rd Birthday, and loving Agent Aya Smith.
In other news: Thereās a new release of the branch of the PSP SNES emulator, the Euphoria R4. Anyone wants to try it and share some opinions?
The earliest that thing will get released is next Spring⦠in Japan⦠with 1 or 2 crappy ālaunchā games. Nowās the best time to jump in on PSP. Even if you buy the sequel at launch, itāll collect dust until it gets a few games worth playing.
just got the PSP Go. I love this shit. itās awesome. only thing that sucks ballz is I canāt use my old games on it, but considering I played through all ofāem(at least twice each) I think Iām good.
Iām not really lookinā for games that take up too much time(like rpgās), so any suggestions on good āpick up and playā-games?
Ok, so it looks like iāll be purchasing a PSP. Itās gonna be the 3000 model.
Whats a good memory stick to go with? I thought the 16gb one looked good, but i heard there are better ones.
Unless youāre going to mod it, thereās no real point in getting a huge memory stick. Also youād be fine with an 8 gig memory stick.
I sorta planned on Dlāing some games. However, you can just delete and swap out games on the stick, right? Iām assuming itāll keep your save game files.
I havenāt messed with my psp in a while.
Once birth by sleep comes out though. Oh man. <3
Yeah, thereās a whole separate folder for your game saves. Game saves are like⦠20kb? if even.
Dusted off my Crisis Core PSP LE and played:
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
Gran Turismo
Phantasy Star Portable 2 demo
I canāt wait for the full game to come out, reminds me of PSO on the Dreamcast.
I died trying to fumble through the menus for health fighting a boss, then I couldnāt save. I went back to the title screen and started again and my level was LVL 1 still.
How the fuck do you save?
Smaller games can weigh on at about 2-300MB, but the bigger releases (MGS, GoW, Crisis Core etc) eat up the better part of 2GB. I guess your choice of memory stick should depend on what games you prefer⦠but 16GB isnāt too expensive anymore (about $50?) so why not buy something with room to spare?
Yeah, always the bigger the better factoring cost.
I have a 4GB, 8GB, & 16GB that I use in between my cameras, PSP, & PS3. I bought each one when the price seemed low enough to me.
You wonāt want to keep adding and deleting files if you can avoid it. Installing Dissidia took over 45 minutes, and that only installed something like 500mb. I would hate to keep doing that anytime I wanted to play.
Yakuza/RGG demo! It requires 6.31. 4Gamer.net (Japanese site) http://file.4gamer.net/demo/KUROHYO_TRIAL.zip (direct link)
Iāll check this out later (hopefully it works with Prometheus)
Iām really loving Phantasy Star Portable 2, but hating the lock on controls. Definitely buying it.
