Do you have any lag on FMVs? If not, what parameters are you using?
Nope. Iām afraid itās nothing but streamlined FF goodness here. There hasnāt been any noticeable lag in my dump and I just finished the second mission of the storyline. Everything except the CPU CLOCK XMB (333/166) and ISO MODE (Sony of course) is set to default.
Great, that means my dump sucksā¦balls.
If you can, Iād suggest getting the FF:CC from blackcats, their ISOs are always flawless.
Iāve heard that the issue may be my PSP canāt read from my memory card fast enough. Iāll have to llok into it more.
Thanks for the suggestion, Fireboy:tup:
It should be able to read fast enough, what brand of memory stick are you using? I know SOME memory sticks donāt have as fast of read/write speed as others. But all Sandisc brands should run perfectly fine, I have a sandisc 4gb memory stick in my psp
Iām tryinā to hustle an 8GB on ebay as we speakā¦
i want to get in blackcats ; ;
the absolute best way to d/l games for PSP is newsgroups
i d/l games in like 3 minutes
I never got introduced to newsgroups (considering I heard they cost actual money at one point or still doā¦)
I got FF:CC in less then 10 minutes on BCG, and for freeā¦I canāt complain lol
and watch out for some stores on Amazon, I had a friend who ordered a 4 gig stick when they first came out for 50$ and instead got a 1 gig stick and the seller closed shop. Just a buyer beware.
I would stick to SanDisk or Sony brands of memory sticks since they tend to have the fastest read and write speeds. Most memory sticks especially cheap ones are capped at 10mb/s which might cause stutters where as Sony sticks guarantee at least 15mb and get over 80mb depending on what youāre using it with. If you bought a cheap memory stick and youāre getting lag, that might be why.
Amen @ SanDisk FTW. Bar none the best value for the most reasonable amount of money IMHO. When it comes to homebrew they are the only brand Iām interested in buying and I couldnāt be happier in terms of overall quality.
Well i can confirm my fat psp plays FF7 CC just fine. its a 1700 meg iso file, and my psp is
3.52 M33-4 CFW and plays just fine. It plays god of war just fine too. Should i be using a newer type of custom firmware for any reason? i know there are more updated ver. then the one im using.
Also0o0o. How difficult is it to turn a new out of the box psp slim into a CFW slim psp? im really really thinking of getting that blood red god of war psp, looks HOT. would be nice if i could mod it <3 is it possible, and if so, how much trouble is it.
I have the same as you: 4G Sandisk Pro Duo
I had the same issue with GoW.
pandoraās battery should work on it. making the battery isnt too hard.
Since you already have a modded phat PSP, modding a slim is INSANELY easy.
I did one just yesterday. Took me about 5 minutes.
Iāll PM you an EASY tutorial.
And you donāt really need to update firmware if all the games you want to play work fine on the firmware youāre on.
iām also having problems here⦠my tekken DR loads a bit slow compared to my friendās psp⦠the fact the we have the same brand of ms (sony pro duo 4gb)ā¦
i just want to ask. what could be the factors that can contribute to the loading speed of the psp to the ms?
Thanks for the pm.
im thinking of buying the Blood red god of war slim psp in june, do you think they would have found a way to prevent modding by that time, by custom firmware? i also heard they changed the slim batteries so they cant be turned into pandoras. any truth to this? i want to mod that red psp slim, hoping it wont give me too much trouble⦠* looks at the pm link guide thingy * hmm o.o.
Do you both have custom firmware? he might have his overclocked and you might not
by then they might? but i doubt it, and no a phat pandora battery works on a PSP slim
