Wow.
Haven’t seen Oregon get their ass kicked this hard in years. LSU offense wasn’t amazing, but having 2 rushers near 100 yards is certainly something. Oregon had so many times where they shot themselves in the foot, and the 2 fumbles by DAT were killer, and definitely the biggest reason why LSU won. Darron made some very questionable passes, and the running game, as I expected, couldn’t get anything going. Turnovers were killer, and led to 3 easy LSU TDs.
Our inexperience is showing. Our mainly new front seven got exposed by the LSU running game, o-line got blown up by LSU’s front four. WR inexperience showed, and I really miss Maehl already. At least the loss won’t look as bad with DAT’s first collegiate touchdown, I guess.
