lets go with sec semipro league, they are usually lightyears ahead anyway
then the rest of the teams can play each other and whatnot, so probably big12/pac whatever teams will tend to win the national title.

:looney:
The es-ee-cee has two teams right now that seem to have overwhelming defense. The other top two Arkansas and Georgia weren’t that great. That doesn’t make the conference unbeatable. If the NCAA would make it illegal to schedule four out of conference patsies the SEC wouldn’t make as many bowls ether.
Nice serious response to a joke post.
The Big 12 was the most balanced conference top-to-bottom this year. LSU, Alabama, and OkSt were clearly the best three teams in the nation, and there was a fairly sharp dropoff after them. As for your other points, almost every team in every major conference plays 1 real team and 3 patsies OOC. This SEC teams 4 patsies business is nonsense.
Sharp drop off after OSU? Didn’t Stanford take them to overtime (and would have won if they had a decent kicker)?
Fine, some SEC teams have one decent OOC opponent (props to LSU for not being a chicken). Still doesn’t excuse scheduling the likes of Georgia Southern and Furman mid-November to act as a virtual bye week. Or teams like Florida that absolutely refuse home and home games because they don’t want to leave their precious stadium. That isn’t tough, it’s being a pussy.
They did. Iowa State also managed to beat them. I don’t think they’re in OkSt’s class, either.
Once again, it’s not some SEC teams, it’s all of them. And once again, it’s not significantly different with any other major conference. I’ll give credit to teh Pac-12 for having the strongest OOC schedule year after year, but they still schedule a majority of patsy teams, just like everybody else.
I mean, basically your argument is that the SEC teams should be blowing out Louisiana Tech instead of Louisiana-Monroe. I don’t see how that makes any meaningful difference at all.
uhhh no son lmao
