Official NBA IS BACK CKRAZY SEASON 3 FANTASY FUN LEAGUE CHAMPION NEVER FORGET!

NOtes on NBA 2k11 player ratings

Operation Sports today got the player ratings for all 30 starting lineups in NBA 2K11. Unsurprisingly, the Miami Heat have the league’s top rated starting five, though they are tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for that position.

The Heat, who added Chris Bosh and LeBron James to Dwyane Wade, average to an 82.2 rating across their starting lineup. So do the Lakers. L.A.'s Kobe Bryant and Miami’s James and Wade are the three highest-rated players in the game, all at 97. Five other players are rated 90 or better.

On the low end of things, the Toronto Raptors, who lost Bosh to Miami, have the worst starting five, averaging to a 67.8. And Duke haters will be delighted to see that Indiana’s Josh McRoberts, at 57, is the lowest-rated starter.

Check out the full list at Operation Sports and see where your favorite team and player came in.

Sorry Clint :frowning:

Great. Kobe will get a tech per game.

Edit - What the fuck? What happened to the post above me?

Anyways this is what I was quoting.

Oh god we’re going down that road again. Cant express anything anymore. Now the refs will get on their high horse again and pick fights with Tim Duncan. Kinda something to think about during the playoffs when seasons is on the line and emotions are running high in a game against the Chimera when the Shadow of the Ref-Assist is taking over the game.

Or something to that effect…

At least Kobe will lead the league in techs this year and probably every year until he retires.

yall played NBA elite demo?

finally a basketball game that feels like basketball.

That’s bullshit,that’s a straight robot league!!1

Man can’t shit be done about David Stern??
I mean seriously,I know he helped pushed for this shit cause he’s mentioned things similar in previous years
, like this dude can’t be voted out??
There’s no union or something?

Damn it David Stern. Shit, even the NBA is getting dumbed down, what’s next. Games? TV shows? Action movies? Movies? Politics?

I think it’s the owners that elect who becomes commissioner. The owners can probably “fire”, or for PR purposes have him resign if they don’t like the job he’s doing but since Stern works for the league and by extension in the owners’ interests (see: CBA and wanting to decrease player salaries and max contracts, hard cap, etc) I doubt the owners will want to replace him. Stern will likely stick around until he decides to retire.

Yea I figured that,Stern has been around since I was a kid.

The league to me has gone backwards in terms of overall.
Stern still see’s the dollar signs due to the superstar appeal but to me the overall game is whats tarnished, I can’t really watch and enjoy anymore, the past 4 years have been a bust for me watching the NBA,highly predictable, outcomes seem too scripted at times,it’s like I’m watching a bad series of TNA Wrestling.
Every year they have to hype a storyline in order to push champions,if a sleeper team does well, they get shafted by ref calls or just sometimes they just get out played by the better teams.
Nothing new every year, same old playoff teams, same old moves, same old trades it’s so freakin boring!!

i can’t stop thinking of the andrew bynum “jesus” video. NBA 2K11 FTW.

^ Truth. Anyone remember the Sac-Lakers west finals of '02?

Didn’t they just add the instant replay in 4th quarter playoff games last season? Wouldn’t a team who asks for a replay of a ‘bad call’ be given a tech if it’s seen as ‘excessive complaining’?

Great Job, Stern.

LOL Why does it feel like Willie Green has been playing for the Sixers since 1991?

Because the Sixers are required by NBA law to have a Willie Green type player at any given moment. Kapono takes over for him I think.

See: John Salmons, Raja Bell, Kyle Korver, Larry Hughes, Matt Barnes, Ira Bowman, Greg Buckner, Rodney Buford, Speedy Claxton, Royal Ivey, Kevin Ollie, etc.

Also, Jesus Christ. He’s been with the Sixers for SEVEN years?

I’m going to miss Nellie. It is probably for the better, but I would have missed him even if he did finish up his last year and retired next year.

So I luck out by trading Steph Curry?

Oh well I’ll take it!

As for the techs are concern. Since they made it easier to get one, does that mean the old rule of 7 tech = suspension (playoffs) still in play? Or are they bumping that shit up?

Sources: Carmelo Anthony of Denver Nuggets part of four-team trade talks - ESPN

I just jumped on the NJ’s bandwagon, but if this happens I am jumping off. FUCK MELO stay in DENVER you stupid Nugget!

Keith Smart coaches a younger and Blacker version of Nellie’s system.

That deal probably won’t go thru because I don’t see Melo resigning with a team that would just have Brook Lopez as the only other talent. Their talking about losing Favors and Harris in that deal which doesn’t leave them with much so your bandwagon is safe.

He will either

A. wait the season out and then sign with the Bricks

B. Be traded to the Bulls or Bricks in a 4 team trade like this proposed one.

Z. Be traded to the Lakers for Walton/Sasha/Bynum (just added this one because someone would say it)

Stern has always been a dick so this tech stuff doesn’t surprise me. Hopefully it goes they way of his supposed crackdown on flopping.

As expected the NBA’s Bob Sanders (Andrew Bynum) is going to miss the entire pre-season and possibly the season opener.

Those new rules seem To have kobe specifically in mind which seems a bit unfair but stern is a jerk so sounds about right

Kobe, Timmy D, and the recently retired Sheed. Leading to the assumption that Wade’s,Bron’s and Dirk’s ref assist will be in full affect.

Maybe they should write up some rules for Joey Crawford about not letting him anywhere near Tim Duncan in an important game.
