If the Timberwolves do this, then they’ll definitely be in the gutter for years. Kevin Love will probably bounce, or sign a huge contract, but suffer the same fate that KG did for over a decade. Those first round picks are too precious for a team like the Wolves who have a hard time getting really good free agents (unless they are too old).
But I wouldn’t put it past them to do this.
Edit: Nevermind, the pick they are trading is the one they got from Utah (which will probably be in the 20s), and Curry’s contract is expiring this summer.
