I think Baron’s assists are similar to Iverson’s, in that he’s not actually dishing to make his teammates better. He’s dishing because he’s in a situation where he can’t score. So he goes up for a contested j and gets an assist because he passes out of the shot… things like that.
The guy takes bad shots and way too many of them. He could be averaging 10+ assists with the type of talent LAC has.
