Official NBA IS BACK CKRAZY SEASON 3 FANTASY FUN LEAGUE CHAMPION NEVER FORGET!

Blake the Griffin will take flight tonight. Aw yea.

I expected somebody to tear my list apart. I’m kind of disappointed.

RealGM • View topic - Xavier Henry has officially taken OJ Mayo’s job. :’(

wow that is sad.

What happened with Mayo?

The only one I don’t agree with is Harris. I think he sucks. I will take Curry over Harris any day of the week.

Remind me to give you a discount when we play.

Don’t worry bro, I got you.

Point guard rankings…always an excellent source of controversy.

It’s hard to see Nash any lower than third, but this is a bad team and a weird year he’s been through where he’s been forced to do much more than just facilitate. Note his career high in PPG so far and his lowest assist total since Dallas.

Still, it’s ridiculous to say he’s not a top five point in the league, I don’t know if you can give Westbrook the nod over Nash just based on like a month’s worth of games.

Rose belongs up there at #3 if he can sustain his 26+ scoring average for more than a month. I don’t think that’s happening. I was very sad recently when I realized that Rose will be completely useless once his athletism fails him.

Harris doesn’t belong up there in any capacity. 6.8 assists against 3.0 turnovers a game is not good. Tony Parker at least has a very excellent top 10 AST/TO ratio right now. (DJ Augustin, by the way, leads the league in that category while also putting up 7.1 assists. He’s having a decent year.)

I think it should go…
0) LeBron

  1. Paul
  2. Deron
  3. Nash
  4. Rondo
  5. Westbrook
  6. Rose
  7. Parker
  8. Curry
  9. Kidd
  10. Jennings
    Next tier: Harris/Wall/Jrue/Felton

1 through 7 is pretty good, you can make arguments for all of them, Nash out of the top 5 I disagree with, and Westbrook at 4 is a bit too high imo but he has been playing out of his mind lately.

I would put John Wall 8th, Kidd 9th, get rid of Harris and Curry, add Brandon Jennings (Good scoring PG) or Raymond Felton (Good defensive PG) to the last spot. Harris gets inflated numbers on a bad team and Curry plays poor defense.

By the end of the season I might put John Wall higher. I’ve watched every game he’s played, and he’s turning into a monster.

^_-;

I really only rank the top 5 PG’s.

  1. CP3
  2. Deron Williams
  3. Russell Westbrook
  4. Rajon Rondo
  5. Steve Nash

Yeah I know no one will agree with it but that is the way I look at it right now.

Who was saying Curry was NOT a point guard just a few pages ago?

didn’t the warriors want to make him a 2? then they experimented and found good results with him as the pg

oh yea, wasn’t me!

I can’t recall.

shifty eyes.

I’m sorry Heat House. I…I’m so sorry.

King James not going to let his team go down like that.

Fuck you.

imo.

Just get him from Kim.

Shame on you Clint. SHAME.

Also, Jaes team is looking baller because Troy Murphy tricked me. OOPS.

LeBron is done.

P.S That dude has pretty good editing.

Jeff Green and Felton having their best seasons ever to.

Oj Mayo isn’t even a starter anymore?

What?

A month’s worth of games? I had Westbrook marginally over Nash last year. Nash, at his very best, was a below average defensive player. He’s now worse than that, while Westbrook is behind Rondo as the best defensive 1 in the league. Nash is still the #1 or #2 pure shooter at the position (with Curry threatening), but Westbrook is better at creating his own scoring opportunities. He’s also a better rebounder, and as I said, light years beyond Nash defensively.

Rose is averaging 8-9 dimes on a team with no post scorer and nobody who can hit a J consistently beyond 15 feet. He’s already become one of the best creators in basketball, and his shot is improving (from “never shoot a 3 ever” Rose in his rookie year to a decent threat to make 1/3 trey attempts currently). A healthy Boozer will help him a lot, and a true jump shooting 2 would make a huge difference for that Chicago team, as well as for Rose’s assist rate. Outside o CP3 and DWill (and possibly including them), he’s the point guard most capable of taking over a game.

Augustin has a lot of promise. I like him a lot. I like Collison too. They’re just not quite there yet.

Both of you have Jennings as top 10? Why? I think he’s borderline top 15. Dude is crazy overrated. Lint, you dissed Devin Harris for having a meh assist/turnover ratio. Why do you think the .02 advantage Jennings has over Harris makes up for him being a 38% shooter? Jennings is a bad shooter who shoots a lot. Does he have talent? Sure, tons. Does he have top 5 talent? Sure. Is he a top 10 point guard right now? Fuck, no. Everybody in my top 10, plus Felton, Augustin, Conley, and Holliday at LEAST are better than him, and if he Jennings took 11 shots a game instead of 15, nobody would be crazy enough to suggest otherwise. And saying “Harris gets inflated numbers on a bad team” ignores the fact that his team went into the tanke when he missed a lot of time and played hobbled last year.

Wall has played 9 games, man. You can’t put a guy in the top 10 in the league on the strength of 9 games. Sure, they were 9 amazing games by a 20 year old rookie, but people were suggesting the same thing when Jennings was averaging almost 30 a game last year, and look what happened. Let him earn it.
