This stuff going on with melo is fucked… i could understand if his team wasnt a contender. Why the fuck does he even want to be traded… it seems like he has a good thing going in denver. If kobe went down bam they would be favored to take the west imo. Thats not good enough for him?
It seems like players have more of a sense of entitlement to go where they want, regardless if they’re under contract or not. I think its setting a bad precedent since other players are watching Melo and CP3 complain and (probably) get their way out. If anything Nuggets should wait until the trade deadline to move Carmelo.
It’s a combination of the Lebron move and being unhappy with the roster and Denver fans. The last we had seen of Melo was him being ousted by an seemingly inferior Jazz squad and him callling out his teammates for lack of help.
It didn’t help with J.R. Smith taking a shot at him, Billups getting torched by D.Will, and Kenyon Martin threatening people in the locker room. Denver while it should be a great team is a fucked up situation with all the over evolved egos in that locker room. Birdman adored by the fans don’t help either when Melo is the star of the franchise.
Lebron’s so called Coup changed nearly everybody’s strategy on how to win so Melo and Cp3 are trying to do the same, yeah it’s bad for the league but there is little that can be done.
That why I said months ago when Lebron,Wade,and Bosh pulled off what they did someone else would try it. These moves are going to screw up the CBA big time.

When their main concern is PPG, scoring titles, Finals Mvps and MVPs which a Kobe fan can make a counter argument for that could be valid.
