Well I told Jae in the IRC chat that I was going to go into this draft cold for the first time. I didn’t read anything, I didn’t even pay attention to basketball. I didn’t even know James Harden was on the Rockets. Plus I decided to drink a lo after the Seahawks lost. :sad:

Rewinding back to the Harden trade, its funny as hell to me - how a league that wants to create equality amongst the big markets and small markets…just shot themselves in the foot. The Laker’s can stomach paying ttheir big 4 + bench. OKC however is scared of the tax so they had to detonate what was a championshp calibur squad. Now they’ll be fine in the long run because of how well they are run, and I’m sure Ibaka’s constant offensive improvement will slowly but surely help cover Harden’s loss…but its just humorous that a small market was a true contender to not only win… but keep winning - but that Laker/NYK busting CBA/Revenue sharing model crippled everyone BUT them.
