Here’s what should happen.
2014
Conley is taxed 10% at $27. Conley is now $30 (we round up).
Lin is taxed at 10% at $1. Since it’s 1.1 we round down. Lin still $1.
2015
Conley is taxed 15% at 30. = 34.5 (we round up since it’s .5) = $35.
Lin is taxed 15% at 1.1 = 1.265 (still under .5) Lin stays $1.
