The white guy in your avatar approves of this chicanery. Also the word chicanery is awesome.
Man Brandon Roy, it is like Penny all over again. Great start to a career and looks like a sure fire HOF, then just injuries tear them the fuck up.
“As Y! had reported, many owners voiced anger with Stern over deal. Some verbally, some, as documented here, in email. Stern made the call.
As for Dan Gilbert email obtained by Y! Sports, timestamp shows he didn’t send to Stern until after 10 PM ET. Trade already had been killed”
They were whining, but there was nothing they could do because none of those teams were owned by the NBA and those 3 were free agents. If the CP3 deal goes down then the NBA becomes hypocrites over the new CBA agreement and that would look bad for the league. My thing is that they KNOW CP3 is going to walk at the end of the year anyway, so now the hornets are likely to get 0 talent from him when he does. The owners were more or less concerned about how CP3 would resign with the lakers, not NO’s needs from becoming an expansion team.
The Rockets, Hornets, and Lakers are appealing the ruling.
Could go to the supreme court, which I doubt.

Well fuck you tell me Odom.
Can we just contract the small market teams away? Charlotte lost its franchise once, take it away. NO doesn’t really want a franchise…take it. Let the players go as they will.

YOOOOO Now the howard to nets deal is fucking dead because of tampering.
Damn so every other team is playing trap cards now lol.
Edit: now Dwight Howard is someone The Rockets should be going for.
I say Howard and CP3 just team up…
And head to south beach.
j/k
What’s sad is I actually would prefer for Manchild to stay in Orl, and for Orl to make the moves necessary to actually build a good team around him. I know they tried, but when you stand back and look at what they tried…meh I’d leave too.
Could you imagine Dwight and KD on the same team (0_0)’

Such a shame.
If it wasn’t for the PHX training staff Grant Hill too. Fucking sad… man. Shit I watched this dude live in HS, college, and the NBA.
Laker fans should be happy, they are a better team with Odom, Gasol, and Bynum all together than just with Bynum.
Forget all you losers anyway, MICKAEL PIETRUS to the Raptors! French Michael Jordan has come to town, Raptors in 4.
Just heard on the radio Nets making a huge offer for Nene.
Yeah they can’t touch Dwight now with being caught tampering. I wonder how big the fine will be once the dust settles.
Looks like Tyson is almost a lock for the knicks too.
Nene is going to be overpayed…I’ve been watching him since he first got into the league, ‘solid’ player, but not worth the kind of money that he’s going to get. Same goes for Chandler. He thrived in Dallas because of the system…he’s another richard Jefferson IMO.

wtf? last week, Blazers were saying they gonna keep BRoy. hope it’s on his terms and not some shady behind the scenes shit.

So far this 5 month lockout has brought us a vetoed trade of a star who wants out, tampering charges, and a 8/8 center getting paid $58 million.
I’m more pissed that the league didn’t come up with a decent explantion of what actually happened, I didn’t want Gasol to leave anyway. Unless we got another piece like D. West or D12.
It’s completely ridiculous that the owners could basically blacklist the Lakers from making deals because the majority of them are shitty owners and hire shitty GM’s.
Then for Gilbert and the hypocrite Cuban to basically say that it’s unfair for the Lakers to make a deal and try to get under the cap to make more deals.
Like the Lakers should be forced into the luxury tax so they can reap the benefits, because the owners won’t come up with a legit revenue sharing system.
That’s why this is a perfectly good time to be a free agent. Lots of teams with cap space and forced to spend, so few quality players.
