So does the veto help or hurt the NBA conspiracy theory? On one hand, Stern is trying to “make the Lakers win another title.” On the other, he did veto the trade. And if there’s an NBA conspiracy, why need CP3 anyways? Luke Walton and a bunch of girl scouts could be playing for the Lakers and they’d still win if there’s an actual conspiracy.
Hurts, he only vetoed the trade after pretty much every owner not in LA or Houston said that is some bullshit. Stern was really hoping to sneak this thing through without anyone noticing.

You know that trade was some bullshizz!!! That would have flew in the face of what the owners fought for in the new CBA. We all know the nba corrupt and is staged. The ref’s are as bad as the ref’s in rasslin (not wrestling) with this hometeam foul calls or the star players get all the calls BS. WE ALL KNOW DAVID STERN IS SHADY AS PHUCK! The owners effectively killed the trade, they are just trying to not take the blame for it. And no they only have input on the Hornets because they are owned by the NBA.
