Thanks for that educational video! Its starting to make sense. This supports my hypothesis that its just your average everyday children’s cartoon that furries turned into a viral meme. now the bandwagoners who support it are more doing it so they can be “hip” and “cool”.

I guess I’m just too old, but I prefer cartoons like animaniacs and looney toons that have a lot more adult humor. Pony looks too happy sparkly and anime for me. I prefer my anime to be filled with angry, muscular, scowling white men with blond hair. no homo

The only thing I know about ponies* is that you can’t go five minutes in the Skullgirls General thread without them being brought up. I just live and let live; on a fighting game forum like this one, pretty much every person has his or her little eccentricities.

  • They look less like ponies and more like hideous fetus mutants with squared-off fingerless appendages (Much like how the Powerpuff Girls have those disgusting pseudopodia for hands).

I actually downloaded an episode after I saw a bunch of the avatars here, I figured I’d check it out. It was slightly amusing, but I had no real desire to find more. Honestly, I really saw nothing wrong with the show, if you can ignore the fact that you’re watching something made for 8 year old girls. That, and Tara Strong makes just about anything watchable.
And Animaniacs was the shit.
