Looks like you guys had a decent turn out for the tournament, good start and something to build on. Sorry I got caught up in the bay, I’ll make sure Eagle will be there to represent next time. I’m still debating on whether to work on RCing or to just go K groove.
In other news I got 3rd strike up and running in the cabinet, I still need to order some new sticks to get it up to competition standards. Do you guys feel comfortable with the Sanwas? Hopefully I can host some get togethers/tournaments in the near future. CvS2 arcade is on hold for the moment, but I found out that I might have a Naomi board lying around so that makes picking it up a lot less expensive. Might be able to get a hold of it within a couple weeks.
I might roll through tonight, was going to watch football for a bit - but I’ll call up pat to see what’s up.

Well my friend, RC is good to learn and K-groove is just simply awesome… so it’s up to you… hmm… learn both! Eagle will be great in K and in other grooves he’ll be just as great too.
I haven’t played much on sanwa’s b4 but, I really don’t have a problem on any stick I ever played on… I just have to play a few games with it and then I adapt very quickly. Good news though on the Naomi board!
As for tonight goes, call Pat up and see what time the battling is going down. I might be there around 5pm for a while…

All you guys need to jump into ST and 3rd strike, hopefully you can get some Anniversary edition & CCC2 discs to start practicing up! Ordered my sticks/buttons today for the cab, hopefully I’ll have it ready to roll by the end of the week.

Impulsze, I bought mine used off a private owner - so that probably won’t help you with the speaker grills.
I would try an arcade game distributor like betson west - http://www.betson.com/
They are located in the bay, you might be able to find a more local distributor if you look around. Either that or try to have somebody make some custom grills for you.

The more ppl that come to this, the more frequent we can hold these tournaments.
If theres enough WILLING ppl that wanna show up for other games like CvS2 or Third Strike to make another decent tourny turnout, I can see if one of those games can be added to the tournament.
