Yeah, that may be true, but in order for them to get use to those characters they have to work on their own basic game play. One has to learn how to walk before they can run you know. Just straight beating some one down doesn’t always help some one get into the game. It is one thing to get OCV’d if you knew your chars in and out, but its another to get OCV’d when you aren’t use to playing on sticks nor are able to use the chars the way they are suppose to be played. Eventually they’ll be able to play on a competitive level, for now it’s best to ease up a bit.
Clayton u bring a very strong point that are people arent well rounded in sf just cvs2 which is y thru 3rd strike i hope to find a deeper understanding of what the real passion for fighting games is all about but anyways uh i just got bak into cvs been playin 3s lately online or anywhere else so if i havent been to boomers its cuz claytons right i play k groove and i dont like having to have an uphill battle everytime i play against a groove which is y im playin 3s for now gives me a break on my head but anyways if i can get a ride to boomers ill go tomoorow i promise i wont flake ggpo

Lol; It’s okay, I kinda figured that Loveless and I would totally get raped in CVS2 anyway. It sucks though, because my computer runs like ass, so no DC emu for me. the only time I can get my CVS2 on is at Loveless’s place via DC Emu.
As far as other games in the Modesto area; I think 3s would be rad to bring in, but I’d absolutely LOVE an ST machine around here.
and as far as “not even going to happen” list, I’d love an Accent Core Machine… and even a Melty Blood

Come on people thats whats wrong with modesto and this towns not gonna go anywhere in gaming levels we cant let people from other town come in and punk us in our own territory Im teaching u guys if anyone wants good lessons that will help them improve in the game in general that doesnt mean how good u could roll cancel that doesnt mean shit it makes u look too perdictable. But the people who have listen to me have improved there game by far. If u wanna talk strategy and advise ill be here.

Where do you guys usually game at? I have family in Modesto and I might be heading north soon. I was there the last time in 05’, but the only place I found an arcade was at MJC. Tilt had a few games in the mall, but there was never anyone there…
Tilt’s gone dude, and I’ve never even heard of the MJC arcade, but we mostly get our game on at Boomers, There’s CVS2, SF3:NG(the first SF3), and Tekken 5.

Well there wasn’t really an arcade at MJC, there was just like 3 cabinets in the cafeteria. I would play there in-between classes. There was MVC2 and KOF there. There was a few guys that played, but nothing special. I went to Boomers like twice. Didn’t play though. I only went because I lost a bet to my little cousin playing Smackdown: here comes the pain on PS2:bgrin: We went there, but nobody was there. So Tilt’s gone? That sucks. It was small tho. Console is the best anyway:tup:
True… Marvel was at MJC and Tilt, but I also play 3S, CVS, and Tekken. I do have my own stick too. If I ever head up there i’ll leave a post or just PM you to see what’s up:tup: It’s been a while since I have played Tekken tho, so I may have to warm up to it again
