i dont’ know who you’ve been talking too, but mwc was far from “boring”. nickel city had something for almost all the genres… and there was good comp for about everything. people were even playing tech romancer and the original mortal kombat.
plus if capcom/mk/etc games weren’t enough, redemption was too fun… i think it was like a decade since i even enjoy those things. justin, henry, robin, eddie, and i walked away with over 10,000 tickets (considering most games minimally gave 1-5 tickets/play) worth of stuff 
i also got my fix of unreal tournament 2k4 during the weekend. :evil:

Power-Dn, good games yo, its a shame I had to play u again in the loosers. Man that first game in loosers should have been mine. Mental laps at the end cost me that match, and it turned out to pay heavily cause I won the second match, and that would have been it. Oh well, your hella good and fun to play against. Say whats up to my boy Vinnyman, he’s hella cool. Ima have to make it out to TX sometime.
Ima keep this sweet and short, I played better towards the end, and absolutely sucked in the beginning, especially when I was in team tourney, I didn’t even win one of my matches. I feel I was the reason the team lost. Papa Trunks, and Kaising, it was good meeting and playing ya’ll, but you don’t have to say anything I was the reason why we lost. I will never play like that again. Good games again.
Umm, I like showing people new stuff, and I was quite pleased to please everyone that was at Red Roof, its a shame those combos/glitches weren’t recorded. Oh well, I’ll keep showing those who don’t know. Dhalsim is the best low tier character, IMO. If used properly, he can be dangerous.

Sorry to be rude or anything, but I don’t think anyone really plays that game hardcore. I play the game but not to the llevel that I think im good at the game. I don’t know advance strategies or anything like that. I didn’t play you in MWC is because it was late and the people that I drove down with didn’t want me to go. If EX2 was in the arcade it would have been gravy but it wasn’t and you want to play it on console. Try making the EX series part of the tournament scene so people would maybe show up. And then you can prove to yourself that your the best in “this game.” Talking online especially never works for anything so what your doing right now is an useless effort.

Well if you could have send something a couple hours after I asked you initally so I wouldn’t have wasted my entire day.
Ex2 was at the arcade, not my fault they just swapped out the pcb for that and put in SSF2T. And according to Wilsons prior post at the MWC thread about this being arcade only forced anything with EX3 to be done before or after the tourniment.
What do you think our attempts at EX3 at both ECC9 and MWC were for?
Whats wrong about EX3? Better than 1001 challenges in marvel or some other overplayed game.

Since I’m not in the mood to respond to every single post and pointless flame inbetween I’ll make this short and simple.
First, The Empire challenged us. When the time came at ECC9 on Sunday, AFTER confirmation on both Friday and Saturday to come down from Jeron, we were given one excuse after another as to why it couldn’t be done. Then at the MWC it seems the same thing happened again. Look, I don’t really care who’s interested in EX3, NA, The Empire, etc., but keep in mind that THE EMPIRE challenged us, they invited us to play, and they wasted our time on both occasions. So in closing, yes we’re being arrogant now and yes I’ll say it again, THE EMPIRE MADE THE INITIAL CHALLENGE. If you don’t wanna hear about EX3 challenges anymore tell The Empire to stop making them or to at least follow through with what they are spitting.

Alright, alright lets put things into presepective. First of all, I understand that what is done is done and apologizing doesn’t change anything. However let me start off by saying that I apologize on behalf of Jeron for making the initial challenge and never following up behind it.
Now on to the real issue, I know that you guys are seeking restitution for wasting your time on us. But lets make this clear, this “Backing out thing” cut it out. The Empire backs out of no challenge it accepts without a legitimet and understandable reason. So I will address for the last time all three events that were suppose to take place.
Empire vs. Watson: $5,000.00 MWC. This event was suppose to take place as a special event at MWC to add interest to MWC. However due to 4 important issues, the event got canceled. First a IM log discussion between myself and a Individual that is directly involved with MWC. (No I will not reveal you so don’t worry about it) This log made me worry about actually going through with the bet in the first place, however that very same person that I spoke to, insured me that no matter what, “He” would make sure that the proper actions are taken so that nothing wrong would happen. I said fine. After making the “Big Dick” bet with Watson, what I had failed to realize is that the Empire was running on a budget that it must use to help the community as a whole. I had a meeting with Marvelous, Flash, Jeron, Santhrax, and Arturo about the bet and they told me, that they know that they could take Watson but that is not the point. The point is why were we wasting all that money on one person or group? Which was a damn good point. Then at that time I got a call from a friend in the industry about a summer project that I could get involved in which would push one of the Empire’s Principles of contribution to the gaming community. (Which I will be able to revealed next week, so at least you will know why I really couldn’t come to MWC or make it to EVO.) 
Finally because I used $7,000.00 fucking dollars to help out fucking ECC9, housing gamers, food, traveling, the tournament prizes and all that other shit. And to make the shit worst, came up short! Where I had to rely on Marvelous to lend me a $1,000.00 to help fucking save everyone’s in the Empire and guess ass on Friday. Not to mention, KBnova, Santhrax, and Ricky all helped chipped in. The event went well and no one got fucked over all thanks to one word. “Unity”. I thought ECC9 would only cost about $5,000.00 but I was wrong and it hit the Empire hard. So with all of this in mind, shortly before ECC9 and after I was talking to Wilson about lowering the special event so that it wouldn’t break the Empire in half for one fucking person. Over all in the end, we got hit type hard, and the Empire was done. So we decided to cut our losses and just tell Watson that we can’t do it, not because we didn’t want to but because we used 80% of the Empire’s money to contribute to the East Coast. Now I look at it like this…80% for Watson…a man I never met, and a midwest coast that Wilson got on lock and can take care of…OR…80% for Phi, Chris Cotty’s Arcade, Empire’s members and guess and ECC9. FUCK out of here I go with OPTION fucking 2. Don’t like it, FUCK YOU! Deal with it. :mad: I don’t see you mother fuckers helping out. So that is why MWC special challenge got cancelled. Wilson understood, so should you.
NEXT challenge. The EX challenge by Jeron to random challengers at ECC9. I don’t exactly know where this happen and what thread. However I take responsibility of my members making a issuing a challenge and not backing it. However like I said, I was at ECC9 and I was at the arcade for large periods of time. 6 hours plus. And even if you couldn’t find some dick head wearing a power glove, PHI was right there. You could have just asked him where is the Empire and that you had a challenge with them. He would have helped directed you to someone in the Empire that could help you. I don’t know what you did, or what Jeron did. I was putting up live minute to minute updates, for all the players that could not attend the event so that they could sit in front of their computers for 4 hours getting minute updates, like it is a fucking baseball game. Who the FUCK has done that in this community? DONE! The concept of me doing that, is because Last year, I remember when I sat down and looked online at ECC8 updates, and I would be upset because I couldn’t go, and I don’t know what is happening. SO I said if I ever go to a major and had a chance, I would remember the many people that were like me waiting faithfully in front of the computer looking for results, and the happiness seen on their faces when they anticipate results and it comes up. I makes them feel like they are at least appart of it. Shit was so hot, mother fuckers jumped off IRC to got to SRK for results. What the fuck is that son? In all of that, you must understand that shit happens. I can understand your frustration, but I was busy. However you chose to stand around for 11 hours? What the fuck? What you was waiting for us to just come to you and be like “Hey guy, wanna play EX2 like we said.” What you fail to relize is that most of the guys that are in the Empire that would have played you were all playing in the tournament. After that they were socializing with friends, or eating. Not that you guys aren’t important, but it is possible that at that time…the challenge wasn’t that important. I also said that you could have just come to me. I had space in the hotel. I would have just had you guys do it there. You could have slept over any way, the whole fucking SRK was there and in Motel 6, might as well bring the world. Shit! All I know, if I ever went to Japan to meet some guy or a group of gamers to play in a game that we arranged, and I am out in JAPAN. Fuck that, I am harassing mother fuckers until we play. If not its a fight. I didn’t come all that way for nothing. Or I am getting my transportation fee back.
Finally MWC. Marvelouos basically explained himself on that one. I don’t really know what to say, since you saw him. But I was not there. I was stuck in NYC doing trainning for something next week. So unfortunately it couldn’t be helped. Ahhh man…shit is so complex. Trying to help everyone. HA HA HA :lol: :lol: :lol: Choi said something to me the other day about shit like this. He was like, “You can’t help everyone and do everything. Just do the best that can do with your dream, you at least please someone” or some shit like that. Funny how he’s right. I don’t know how we can make it up to you guys, but the way to do it is to take this time now to communicate and set up soemthing more solid. You guys said that your HQ is mostly in NJ, well the Empire may be in several coast in the United States and in Japan, but our HQ is in NYC, The Empire State. Maybe we can set up something to come down to you. And if this shit goes through for the Empire next week then I have a surprise for the entire city of New York.
In closing, I am just saying give us some space, right now we are reconstructing and trying to still do shit for the community while we are reconstructing. You guys have no idea how hard it is on the Empire “ESPECIALLY” in NYC. How much sacrifice Marvelous, Arturo, Flash, Haztak Knight, and all the members in the Empire that help out, even members out of state like Bchun, mixup, Ricky, and the rest. While must of you think that I am some thousandare, or millionare. Funny you think, that. But I’ll leave it at that. I at least will be able to help send a couple of people in the SRK community that you guys recognize to EVO, one of them is Rodney from NE. and how July 10th, $yndicate/Empire tournament at CTF will send someone other than Empire to EVO for free, and what we are going to do for the city of NYC outside of SRK and on to other videogames. Not to mention M3. When you mother fuckers do for others, other than yourselves. Holla at me bitches.
