mwc was really fun. wilson and crew made everything go smoothly. unfortunately, i didn’t get to disqualify anyone out loud :frowning:

Actually for getting me to remember it was 3. SFEX3 at ECC9, were the NA crew waited 10 hours for it to start and being snubbed constantly by Jeron, and here at MWC to me where I was snubbed for 11 hours for both SFEX2+ and SFEX3.

I’m now glad my friend from japan didn’t waste 2 thousand dollars for round trip plane tickets to only be snubbed.

Empire snubbing fellow EC players isn’t exactly a great way to keep unity between EC.

The saddest thing about that entire ordeal that you are telling me about is the fact that we had the EX2 at the hotel and I am not hard to find at the break, as I am the only “DORK” so to speak wearing the power glove. You could have just come up to me and asked. If push came to shove I would have just had the tournament back at the hotel. Hell everyone was there even Blazinflo. I asked Jeron about that, and he said he didn’t know if it was going. You guys have to understand if you have a problem or made appointments or whatever with whomever you must say something if something is going wrong or you are going to get hit with the problem. I was doing a million and one things, and it is not to say that one is more important than the other but I am only one person, and not communicating makes it worst. So next time please say something. :frowning:

Also as for the MWC, I already stated that I wasn’t coming. Now from what I am getting from you are saying that because Jeron is a member of Empire Arcadia his no show is a reflection of the Empire? If that is what you are implying then very well…you are right and we did snub our own coast twice. I accept blame on behalf of the Empire. But since that is the case…:evil:

Good games to all at 3s who i played and st/ae who i played till 3:30 am. One thing i notice about AE was that when i picked the older verison of guile and hit the person once they would of get dizzy. I did it around 6 times to people. Also ST was 2/3 but you wrote down 3/5 why the last minute change.

In reference to ECC9 Jester, Gen and Sensei did talk to Jeron, and all he kept on saying was “later”, for 10 hours. Seeing how Jeron did see Jester and the rest of the NA members he can’t exactly say “I didn’t know that it was still on”. Course it doesn’t help with Jeron is NEVER online to talk to to get the details straightened out before hand. And saying “later” for 10 hours and then just ignoring us doesn’t exactly keeping the EC united.

I already knew you weren’t going to go, and that doesn’t matter since we didn’t have an agreement to face you. We had something to face Jeron, Nibor, and Justin Wong. In both EX2+ and EX3. And I waited there for 11 hours, I had all of the recording equipment in the car and everything. All for nawt.

I even made a post in the offical MWC thread before the tourniment started letting you all know that I was going to be there on Sunday, but no one from the empire replied to that.

Perhaps communication would have helped, but we tried our best to get it going. Not our fault that the empire members involved never bothered to talk to us back for the months prior to both ECC9 and MWC.

In either case, we’re very disappointed. Maybe if Gen decides to goto Evo as planned (though he might not considering what happened at ECC9 and at MWC), we can finally get this done and over with.

shinjigohan: me/justin/nibor were at MWC all weekend. Jeron couldnt go to MWC cause he couldnt afford it, however you could have talked to any of us if you wanted to play EX, we werent hard to find at all. But instead, you go online about how you were itching to play Jeron/Nibs/Justin at MWC while you were there, but you didnt bother to talk to any of us. Oh well. =/

anyway, props to DreamTR and Geoff for running a great tourney, Dream is a bastard though, he didn’t let me reclaim my national SVC title over the weekend. EWOOOOOOOOOOO!!

thanks to floe for letting me crash at the last minute. thanks to WildKitty (Ryan) and VincentDelpino (Scott) and HazTak (Yoko) for seriously hooking me up, without them I wouldn’t have been able to go to MWC. It was cool seeing the OG Cali crew there, as well as team NSJ, team chicago + JackDaFob, who I haven’t seen in years, hehe…and it was good to meet the Texas crew as well, including some of the XX players I never met (like Kensou and Genious.) You guys are hella cool, Vanessie is top tier, Fubarduck WAS my cvs2 hero for almost OCV’ing Valle with Raiden, then he loses out in qualifiers cause he dumps Raiden for some top tier A-Groove character, WTF. Stay true to your roots, bro. :lol:

Choi and Ricky are still beasts in CvS2. I couldn’t beat either of them in tourney, I never once got to Ricky’s last character. Choi’s Ken is sick as well, Ken’s rushdown = too good. I’m glad I got to play John so many times in the tournament, I still have some stuff to learn before I get better. Justin could have beaten you both though :evil: Oh well, GG’s.

And it was cool seeing Team Florida again, Biggzy is the motherfucking truth for taking out Mike Ross, Blaziniflo AKA the atlas is still as random as fuck :stuck_out_tongue: and Sentinaaaal is still a beast, nuff said.

Where were all the ppl who whined about playing on arcade cabinets?? this mwc was smaller than usual in terms of attendance.

correction I did talk to Justin at MWC, or did you miss the part where I said that? I found him around 2-3pm and brought it up to him. And he acted like he didn’t know about it at all. And say “maybe later”. So I wait around til Nickle City closed and waited outside, when Justin was going to the car that he came in I brought it up again and he said “not tonight”.

Plus it doesn’t help that I have no idea what you or nibor looked like. But there goes a waste of 11 hours.

GGGGGGGs everyone!!!

i think the best part of this tourney was the part mine and mopreme’s flight back to Austin got cancelled for no reason, and we had to live in Chicago O’Hare International Airport for over a day. Wait, no it wasn’t!! =(
