Official 'Kitty' class boards thread

What the hell, I never noticed this thread? Subbed
Though I am already a huge fan of the MC cthulu, i will definitely keep an eye on this.

I want one pm sent

Any information on what the problem with the firmware update was? But no, there’s no way to check the firmware version installed. I did put one on the board and tested before I brought it to you. I need information about the problems you’re seeing and how its behaving and what you’re testing on.

thanks man.

I saw in the 2nd post that these aren’t yet working on the TE-S sticks… I’m guessing this applies to the Blazblue and Chun Li sticks that also use the updated PCB?
I’ll be dual modding my blazblue stick in the next few weeks and would like to try out the new board if it’d work.

If the lock switch also disables the start and select, then it isn’t currently support. Chun is out, but I dont know about the blazblue stick because I’ve never seen one.

I have one and it does. I guess I’ll be going back to the MC Cthulhu/Imp route.

So after reading the first posts, I’m still a bit confused. It has full support for the R1 TE on all the consoles that the MC Cthulu supports, and it goes in an Xbox 360 stick, but it doesn’t work on the 360? Did I read that right and am I understanding that this is meant to expedite dual mods as opposed to being a dual mod in itself?

If this is NOT 360 compatible, could that please be edited in the first post? I have a feeling that will clear up much confusion.

The Kitty itself does not support 360.
Thats whats the 360 pcb is used for.

Alright, that’s what I was wondering. For some reason I thought it was meant to be a total PCB replacement, as opposed to a compliment.

Man Toodles, I really don’t know what sort of crazy things you’ll come out next. You’re just way too unpredictable man! :looney:

I haven’t confirmed this 100%, but I believe it was mentioned somewhere that the BlazBlue TE uses the 2nd gen PCB from the TE “S”.

First time looking at this thread! Cool idea, Toodles! Keeping it easy should lend to a huge user base!

When/where can we order one of these?

At the moment, from me directly is the only way. I don’t want to have them up at LizardLick until all of the documentation to go with them is ready.
Either version is $50 and priority mail shipping is $6 in the US.

VLX Install document posted up. Feedback and criticism very welcome.
I mean, seriously, stupid simple install. Wish I could write faster.

Installation guide looks fine.

Noticed a couple of typos in the firmware readme.txt - ‘thsi’ at the beginning, and ‘inticator’ about a third of the way through.

Hot damn, if or when these are released for the Fighting Stick VX (same PCB as the HRAP VX-SA?), I’m snatching it up with the quickness.

Subbed.

Damn near identical pcb’s, but they are wired very differently, so each one will have to have different Kitties for each. But, please understand, it’s gonna be a bit. Even once I get a layout and installation I like, which can be difficult, then comes the fun of setting things up to properly recognize and use the turbo sliders.

Assuming the MK9 stick will be common ground (which I know is a huge assumption at this point), will there be any chance of an MK Kitty in the forseeable future?
