I have somebody inquiring me about doing a TE-S dual mod. I am wanting to know if you have TE-S Kitty’s ready to order direct or if you had an ETA on when lizardlick would get them.
I am wanting them to buy the TE-S Kitty kit and then drop it all off to me, but I am wondering if I should refer them to you or to Lizardlick.
I got a TE Kitty. Installed it today. Tested it tonight. Works wonderfully so far! Seems to work without any problems. Although when I tested it on the computer (Vista Home Basic OS 32bit), for some reason the part where the 1 player LED is supposed to light up… didn’t. But it works fine. I’m thinking it was a hiccup on the computer because she’s been acting up lately. It works great on the PS3. Haven’t tested RJ-45 capability but will let you all know when I do. When Lizardlick gets the TE-S’s, I’m getting one right away. I figure all the bugs will be out of it by then. If it even has any, which I’m pretty sure (from what the log is showing so far) it won’t at all. Another thing I’d like to add is that TE Kitty was nice to me and was the EASIEST 360 TE board I’ve installed. Ever. Period. Thanks for making these, Toodles. It’s a great product! It by all means isn’t going to steal my heart away from the MC Cthulhu, though. I’m a “hands dirty” kinda guy. I also love my Hakko 936 with modded 907 Iron so… it was weird putting a board in without it heated up. Like an eary lonely feeling…
I will be buying a T.E rd1 soon and i have a few Questions.If i buy this TE kitty will i be able to play on the ps3? or will i have to by a extra board for dual modding purposes?
The kitty is for dual mods. Dual mods is to make 1 controller work on 2 (or more) systems. As Dual mods generally are (but not always have to be) Xbox 360 and PS3 and the Kitty adds PS3 capability, so you will need a Xbox 360 TE. The Kitty would be the 2nd board for this mod.
TE Kitty is a PlayStation 3 Controller.
It’d be best to order them direct for the moment; he’s looking at $61 total for US shipping.

I wonder, If we program the buttons through the Kitty, can we program a button to work as a 2nd button? I was Thinking in Arcana Heart 3, the set up I have really leaves me quite happy (Flipped Arcade Controls - Attack Buttons on Bottom Row & Dash/Arcana on Top,) but since the game’s options only allows for one button per function, can we program 2 buttons to work as the same one? I wouldn’t mine having 2 Dash Buttons (1 next to my Heavy for certain combos I have in mind.)
Also, Dumb Question. What can I use to keep the Joystick Cable on the contacts? Currently I have a Rubber Band tied around the Connector and Stick to keep the cable. It’s been working for me for the past few months, but recently in game, I lost control of Up and Right motions. Had to open the stick again to reset the band…

Ok I’m having an issue. When I connect to the pc no matter what I hold it comes up as kitty TE. I put it in RS and held back or select. Neither works. Also for the led/guide board. All my bottom row lights are working and only the rb top row light is working. The guide isn’t lighting up like it’s supposed to either. My joystick still isn’t plugged in. Any help please? I’m on a Chun li TE s
When I go into properties on my pc all the buttons are detected, just the guide/led board stuff isn’t acting right
Also the top 2 and bottoms right corner of the guide doesn’t work and my joystick isn’t working on ps3. Trying to be as specific as possible.
EDIT: ok so the joystick and joystick LEDs on the guide button work now. The only issue is my top row of buttons now working or my top row turbo LEDs working on ps3. They work on my pc just not ps3.
OK so another update. Here’s the status so far.
My Start and Select do not work at all.
All the buttons work on ps3 and pc, The top row just isn’t lighting up. ( other than RB/Fierce punch…that lights up)
Also seems like my turbo button isn’t working either. Which can explain why I can’t force it into xbox mode ( because I don’t have a working turbo or select button)
My joystick and Joystick guide LED’s are all working properly.
when I’m on ps3 and put it in RS, my stick stops working.
Is there an obvious reason for this? is it something simple I overlooked or did wrong?
So the problem lies with the ribbon cables between the Kitty+TE board and the LED daughterboard, especially the big complicated one from the TE-S set of cables. And dont forget to move the lock switch to ‘unlocked’.

Yeah The switch is set to unlocked, but my Start/Select, guide or turbo refuse to work. So does the top 3 LEDs.
What do you suggest I can do as a fix?
